Jev 1.14 trails Voyage rerank-3 by 0.003 in Kapa's company-knowledge benchmark
Kapa says Voyage rerank-3 also had the lowest cost and median latency among the models tested.
TLDR
On 1,000 test cases built from production queries, Kapa measured how well reranked results covered the information needed for answers. It says Voyage rerank-3 scored 0.535, narrowly ahead of Jev 1.14's 0.532 in its best-tested mode. Jev beat every Cohere and Qwen model Kapa tried, but Voyage led on score, cost and latency, so Kapa says it is sticking with Voyage.
