Deepgram is acquiring Daily and establishing an independent Pipecat Foundation

A Daily co-founder says the team is joining Deepgram, which will sell, support and develop Daily’s current products and services. Pipecat will remain open source and vendor-neutral, with a planned independent foundation whose steering committee will include companies that compete with Deepgram. The announcement says Deepgram is adopting Pipecat as the core of its new voice AI products and services.
