    Roelof Botha announced that he invested personally in Flow Engineering’s latest funding round and joined its board as an independent member. In his Sept. 30 post, Botha cites the team, business traction and the timing of AI’s role in hardware development. He previously led Flow’s Series A.

Models are getting better quickly at CAD, analysis, simulation, and tool use. In the next year, AI will move from integrating the work to doing the work. It's enabled so much acceleration due to aligning thousands of stakeholders for complex, irreversible, high value pipelines from cars to rockets. You cannot go back to spreadsheet_final_FINAL_v23 once you've been in Flow. proud to be a friend first, and smol investor second.
