Bloomberg reported on October 22 that Anthropic's expected IPO could bring multibillion-dollar gains for its backers. Citing people familiar with the matter, it said Iconiq had invested more than $6 billion and its stake was worth about $17 billion at Anthropic's $965 billion private valuation. One person told Bloomberg that Spark Capital's stake, which began with a $75 million investment in 2023, was worth $7 billion at that valuation.
