    TLDR

    OpenCode posted about achieving its first day with 6T tokens processed. Y Combinator retweeted the announcement. Engineer thdxr associated with the project confirmed that service errors had been fixed and anticipated another day of very high usage. Replies from other engineers discussed token counts cache effects and costs at DeepSeek rates. Visible conversation focused on the scale of processing and occasional capacity limits encountered during the peak. Posts mention DeepSeek models leading the volume and users experiencing throttling that has since cleared. The team invited further reports of ongoing issues.

    @ycombinatorRT @opencode: OpenCode Go’s first 6T token day
    @teortaxesTexI might be misreading this*, but 1 between OpenRouter and OpenCode, DeepSeek has generated something like 15T Flash tokens in a day, right? at DeepSeek pricing, that's $4.2M, for ARR = $1.5B. (*which tokens? reads? I've clocked 2B reads myself) can anyone sanity-check this?
    @xeophon@teortaxesTex Those numbers are usually including cache hits, yes
    @thdxrRT @opencode: deepseek flash is currently having capacity issues from the unprecedented volume you may see errors - we're working on a fix
    @delipraoUnited States of Deepseek
    @yacineMTBahahahahahaha oops
    @jayairGo's first 7T token day ...2 days later
    @zephyr_z9LOL, their servers are overloaded, so they need to raise prices and destroy some demand
