The case for using multiple people's AI models for value alignment

A user argues that sending a prompt to different people's language models yields a final query reflecting the combined values and mental models of those people.

    TLDR

In a reply thread, a user argues that the query returned after sending a prompt to different people's language models represents the “sum total” of those people's values and mental models. They call this a strategy for value alignment, then offer a self-described “big if true” claim that the setup solves most of AI's biggest problems. They say work toward it is moving too slowly and invite questions to improve the ideas.

@iamtraskanyway - if you will let me make a "big if true" statement... this setup solves most of AI's biggest problems. lots of very smart people are working towards it. it just takes time to build and it's not happening fast enough. if you're feeling doubtful or curious - ask Qs! i'd love to chat about it with you (good chance we can make the ideas even better :)
