Alphabet CEO posts Q3 revenue growth of 25%, Google Cloud revenue growth of 103%

In an Oct. 28 post, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai put Q3 revenue growth at 25% for Alphabet and 103% for Google Cloud. He attributed Cloud's growth to demand for the company's AI infrastructure and AI solutions.

Pichai also wrote that Google's first-party model APIs processed nearly 32 billion tokens per minute, up 40% quarter over quarter. In an Oct. 29 post, rakyll interpreted the token figure as a sign that models are “moving from the frontier into the utility tier.” Pichai credited AI investments with growth in Search queries, including commercial queries, and said year-over-year query growth was the highest it had been in five years.

Pichai described Alphabet as being on a half-trillion-dollar annual revenue run rate. Alphabet's investor site lists its third-quarter 2026 results and links an earnings release, slides and webcast, but the page does not reproduce the figures in Pichai's post.
