Grok reportedly sees images and chimes in during group chats

A user who tested Grok in a group chat in September 2026 says it could see images and text, always responded when addressed, and could choose to chime in based on context. In a follow-up, the tester said an admin had to add Grok during testing and that an option should be in the group-chat menu. They also said Grok could be invited like a person.
