Perplexity CEO Congratulates OpenAI on GPT-6 Astra

Aravind Srinivas, founder and CEO of Perplexity AI, posted public congratulations to OpenAI. He described GPT-6 Astra as the industry's frontier model, ahead of others on wide and deep research tasks while remaining more cost-effective. Srinivas added that Perplexity would bring the model to its Computer service for all Pro and Max users soon. In a visible reply to the same post, Beff Jezos asked whether OpenAI is back on top.
