One observer says service integration and small UX touches matter more to them than the model powering an agent.

    TLDR

One observer argues that product management is making a comeback in personal AI agents, with Instinct, Dot, Muse and Grok bot tying user experience to model capabilities and service access. They say they care more about details like Muse’s activity notification and Instinct’s thumbs-up message acknowledgment than which model powers an agent.

@sriramkwe are seeing a come back of product management when it comes to the design and UX of personal agents. instinct / dot / muse / grok bot all have significant product work on tying together ux with model capabilities underneath and its access to various services. in all of these cases I rarely care about the underlying model but very much care about the big and little touches ( the muse activity notification, the little thumbs up emoji in Instinct to acknowledge a message and more). contrast this with the “upgrade to latest model” path we are otherwise on.1h
