Vaibhav (VB) Srivastav serves as developer experience and community lead for EMEA at OpenAI after prior work at Hugging Face. In a public post he wrote that the teams defending our most critical systems often have the fewest resources. He welcomed a $1B effort to place frontier AI, training, and hands-on support in their hands. The post names open source maintainers among those who would receive the resources. Srivastav added that he is very glad the effort is moving forward.
