What's crazy to me is that Fable is blocked from life sciences broadly, nerfed even if you get passed the classifiers and filter level blocks.

The whole point of AGI/ASI is to cure all diseases. Everything else is just nice to haves. But Anthropic wants to close off that path.

I think Anthropic might be the worst company on the planet.

Well they made a mistake. I a business owner and developer can never trust them to be reliable again.

Workflows I do every day with anthropic models now all failing, literally wasting hundreds of dollars due to input tokens that lead to no output. Can never put my trust in them as a paying customer again

@ManpreetBola It's like they're on day one of any safety classification. Crazy since we went thru this with Llama-2 where it would refuse to discuss spicy mayo because spicy foods are dangerous!

They gave me access to bypass the cybersecurity gate 2 weeks ago, I can't make mythos do a damn thing, innocuous or otherwise

They made them too strict on purpose.

@Teknium i agree w anthropic. bio vulns cannot be patched. better to overprotect & there are other models to ask about bio

pliny hacked like every model. i don't think nationstates are weaker. seems an appropriate level of defense

standard biotech requests usually go through. the policy catches specific dangerous research, not the whole field.

real tension but overstates the claim.
