Lets get this started

So now that its been a few months since the release of the Affinity app, what is the consensus on the app? Is it an Adobe replacement or is it still a work in progress?

As a student in an instructional design degree program, I have been able to complete all my needed task with it that Illustrator or Photoshop would have been done with. I will say that the instructors of the program are not big fans of using none Adobe tools-but its free and does what I need it to do.
