Gunbird and Rival Turf - Time Extension article

The Polymega is introducing two new collections, Polymega Collection 17: Gunbird and Polymega Collection 18: Rival Turf, featuring classic titles from Psikyo and Jaleco. Notably, The Fallen Angels / Daraku Tenshi, a rare arcade-only fighter from 1998, is being ported for the first time to a home system.

Retro consoles in 2026

What a weird article to make in 2025/2026. A lot of those retro consoles haven’t been for sale for years. Still, Polymega is on the list. I would have added the Virtual Boy controller to the list too, alongside the Analogue 3D.

My “Year of Final Fantasy”

So I’m nearing the end of playing through all the numbered non-MMO Final Fantasy games. As December rolls around, I’ll be working through XVI and then moving onto something else. I’ve played most of series in years past, but playing through them again left behind some surprises.
