Hello digg ogs and new guys, Trying to build something or maybe catch a deal (Linux only)

I have a budget of 2k I have dying hardware, talking 1080 and old ryzen, made the switch from windows to endeavor os, I used to run Gentoo years ago so not scared of configuration I've checked pcpartpicker builds just so far few results on Linux, any recommendations?
