For those of us who are complaining that Starbucks seems to be everywhere, this map will only confirm your worst suspicions.

According to this map made by geographic information software company Caliper, Starbucks is the most prevalent coffee chain in the US. In 35 states โ€” including every state west of the Mississippi โ€” the Seattle-originated coffee chain has the most coffee shops:

Dunkin Donuts, the second-biggest coffee chain, holds dominance in 14 states, including Massachusetts, the Dunkin-crazed state where the chain originated. And Minnesotans apparently love and support Caribou, a chain founded in Edina, Minnesota, as it is the only state where either Starbucks or Dunkin don't win out.
