- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -2/+107As cool as this is, I am still waiting for the 360's power brick to take this step.
- robomixx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+90Because it was more cost effective and this probably uses tec that was not as cheep or avalible at the time.
- Azimuth1, on 10/10/2007, -17/+84If one guy can do it, why couldn't Microsoft have designed the Xbox to not be so huge in the first place?
- Bakkster, on 10/10/2007, -0/+62It also doesn't have a DVD drive. And, for all we know, he cut mildly useful items, like the heat sinks. Not really enough info to tell...
- crgnetworks, on 10/10/2007, -3/+64Your kidding me right? This story links to a article, that links to a digg story, that links to the original source... wow. Talk about some freaking blog SPAM.

Easily the most misunderstood gamepad. - islingt0ner, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=615937
link with pics - ydt89, on 10/10/2007, -1/+28Yes. My Windows Xbox is bloated beyond belief..... ;D
- Blacula, on 10/10/2007, -0/+24Slap XBMC on them and sell as cheap, sexy media centers. PROFIT++.
- Klarth, on 10/10/2007, -5/+28Diggs does not equal clicks.
Diggs does NOT equal clicks.
DIGGS DOES NOT ***** EQUAL CLICKS. - Cyberbladewolf, on 10/10/2007, -6/+24Eh, the system can be humongous for all I give a damn. It was the Xbox controller that shouldn't have been huge in the first place.
- AvidPreatorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17looks like a router
- tuzziel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17I hope MS marketing department will take a peep or two.
- Klarth, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14Why do people like you even bother commenting? Piss off.
- Cyberbladewolf, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13You want that extra heat in there? You like to punish your 360 don't you?
- clperez390, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Lol, a pun.
- hiro, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Who cares what the consoles look like, it's what they put on your screen that matters. Mine are hidden from view anyway
- WolfDV, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10XBMC is a tiny package . . brilliant!!!!
I want one .... please - RSS14, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Just in case:

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7direct link appreciated.
- Barnolde, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6If you look inside the Xbox, you see there's no breathing room, the DVD drive takes up half the space:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Xboxinside02.jpg
Compare it to the 360, which has a lot of breathing room and the HDD and power supply are external, yet still has tons of heating issues:
http://www.hardware.info/images/articles/xbox360-open.jpg - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6you forgot to take your pill
- DeFex, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7no the actual item of interest is not even on that site do NOT go there. it is at http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=615937.
Instead of making a "blog article" page that links to an actual item and then sending people to the "blog" to be annoyed frustrated by slow servers. how about just submitting the original item to digg.
it will save you time, as well as save other digg users massive annoyance. how hard can it be? is there any reason at all why people would want to have there time wasted? - FamilyGuy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Many people probably care. You aren't everyone, and as such your opinion is not universal.
- mohamedmansour, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6You have to take note that xbox is 6 years old. Design changes over time. Plus the original has many stuff which this doesn't have. If it were me, I would have included those slim DVD drives, and wireless controllers. It will make it half an inch thick, but it is worth it.
- Gerz1219, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6"Looks so ugly to have a huge power adapter on the floor, even though it's not that visible."
How can the power adapter look ugly if it's not visible? Do you mean to say that even though, like all of us, you've stashed the power brick behind your AV rack, merely *knowing* that there's an external power supply you can't see makes the 360's case design ugly? - rowlodge, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4even the 360's got lots of room you could squeeze out. just that it needs so damn much cooling.
- antriver, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I have a 360 and I recently bought an xbox 1 as well for XBMC. The 360s media features don't even compare to XBMC
- p0tent1al, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The 360 already suffers from heat dude. If they incorporated power supplies, no one's 360 would be working right now.

Someone beat you to it. They only got 20 Diggs, though. - tiigs, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3SHUT YOUR MOUTH, go play playstation your retard. The XBOX was amazing when it came out and still has its moments.
- dasdef, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2moron, this is xbox, not xbox 360.
- alekies, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2But will it blend?

babs22 is a spammer - everyone of her comments link to that paddy site (click on the comments tab to see them) - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Why do people keep posting this. we obviously know this. digg can be associated with x number of clicks you know...
- CLShortFuse, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3if you notice on the bottom it says "Via Digg" and links to http://digg.com/microsoft/Introducing_Xbox_Mini_gloss_black_finish
Just thinking about it right now, he saw it on digg, posted it on his blog and then submitted a knowingly duplicate story. i'm sorry, i have to bury this because that's a complete disregard for Digg policies. That and he just calls the creator "some guy"
(i just realized i'm partially repeating crgnetworks, sorry) - TyrannousDotNet, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3like my xmini?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/tyrannous/97410006/ - supaklaw, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not to mention a 360 only runs about 1/4 of original xbox titles. Halo2 runs natively on xbox1... on the 360 its emulation software that always puts you at a disadvantage... I cannot for the life of me do a punch beatdown in H2 on a 360, it's always about 1 second lag time to actual gameplay due to the emulation. 360 is for Oblivion, Bioshock, Gears, and Halo3... otherwise Xbox1 is a better option for many, for under 100 bucks.
- p0tent1al, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2seriously dude, ***** these DVD drives. Microsoft should be considerate and offer a driveless option for piraters.
- ToxicWombat, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's times like these when you wish Microsoft had a Jonathan Ives of its own...
- irieKEN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The enclosure looks very very much like Sony's HD Location Free:)
- s1mph0ny, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1But with more rendering power, and larger game collection!
