- watership, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12OMG. What do you think a "SALE" means?
- Frozo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11That's because it's not on sale yet.

Been waiting to grab a few new Arcade titles? This weekend is the perfect time as we’re having our first ever LIVE Arcade price drop.
For the 48 hour period beginning at 12:00 a.m. GMT on Sunday, September 2 and continuing until 11: 59 p.m. GMT on Monday, September 3, the following Xbox LIVE Arcade games will be available for half their usual price:
Small Arms - 400 Microsoft Points (normally 800 Microsoft Points)
Easy to pick up but hard to put down, "Small Arms" is a frantic multiplayer action game with the feel of an arcade shooter.
Zuma Deluxe- 400 Microsoft Points (normally 800 Microsoft Points)
Explore more than 20 realms in Adventure mode and put your skills to the test in this fast-paced puzzle game.
Gauntlet - 200 Microsoft Points (normally 400 Microsoft Points)
The original dungeon crawler lets four adventurers explore and fight together as a warrior, valkyrie, wizard, and elf.
Dig Dug - 200 Microsoft Points (normally 400 Microsoft Points)
Experience the fast-paced action of this quarter-cruncher from 1982 as you take control of Dig Dug himself and vanquish Pookas and Fygars.
Remember: If the game is available in your region, it will be available for the ‘sale’ price during the above time. - gothsquirrel, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11About f'n time. Prices should drop after months. There are plenty of things i would purchase if they dropped in price on x-box live.
- j1a1g1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9The best deal is on the game "dig dug"
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/d/digdugxboxlivearcade/ - slyk11, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Great deal on Small Arms and Dig Dug considering how much fun they are. Even at the full price each they were still worth it.
- litheon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Microsoft doesn't host that website.
- reed311, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8You want people to give away labor for free?
- Lou3000, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Whew, I was worried that it was a sale.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7The only game I bought on XBLA was Geometry Wars...best one IMO
- masamunecyrus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Hopefully other companies catch on (I'm looking at YOU, Nintendo).
- Jeffler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6A Digg article that tells me that Dig Dug is for sale is Dugg. /badpun
- estvir, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6You're a retard.
- Morphinity, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Dig Dug is amazing.
- Tishiablo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6LOL
"Dolby 5.1 Surround" - mattcoady, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Damn it, I've already bought those :(
Now if only they'd lower the price of bank-shot billiards... - logicalnoise, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5MS has two free games on XBL, Aegis wing and some Xbox vision game. Quit whining.
- Zonghui, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Pretty cool deals.
Hopefully more stuff like this happens in the future. There are other things I would really like to buy if they were just a bit cheaper on the Marketplace. - masgaster, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Zuma, ftw.
- ShakataGaNai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4For the 48 hour period beginning at 12:00 a.m. GMT on Sunday, September 2 and continuing until 11: 59 p.m. GMT on Monday, September 3, the following Xbox LIVE Arcade games will be available for half their usual price:
- NewChar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Uno?
- Skellbasher, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Please learn to read.
For the 48 hour period beginning at 12:00 a.m. GMT on Sunday, September 2 and continuing until 11: 59 p.m. GMT on Monday, September 3. - mattcoady, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Are you kidding? This game was built for stick control. You just point the stick in the direction and fire.
- wageslaven, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3There are 82 games, you are very unique if you've happened to buy that set-of-4. Perhaps the next Sale will include some of the games you wanted but didnt buy yet?
Me? I'm all over Zuma and Gauntlet (yeah!). - jedikv, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Free if you got the hard drive
- terminalpariah, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Bomberman!
- CarzorStelatis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Microsoft spam? Er... this is the Xbox 360 section of Digg. Logic suggests that most of the posts are going to be connected to Microsoft somehow.
- Karyyk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Dugg, even if I already have them.
Not much of a fan of Small Arms, but Gauntlet and Dig Dug are classics and Zuma is a fun casual puzzle game. Sorry that it's not "hardcore" enough for today's "gamer," but you still don't have to buy them... - StandardsDT, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Eh most of those games I'm not really interested in. The only game I think I would probably get cause it's a decent game is Zuma.
- Bartboy919, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2MN does his blog on his own, it is in now way tied to microsoft other than the fact he works there.
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2And Hexic came free originally. Not sure if it still does though.
- rjejr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Am I the only 1 who's been waiting for this to happen on the Wii? Not that it will happen until they can actually keep some Wii's on the shelf for more than 5 minutes, but c'mon, Nintendo OWNS most of that stuff, they could offer an NES Mario or Metroid or Zelda for half-price if you buy an SNES edition? Just one example of a way for them to get some relatively cheap publicity. And you know some people would buy a $5 game at $2.50 just to save the $2.50 which won't even buy a cup at Starbucks.
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Ehh... just wait until the Super STreet Fighter Turob Remix HD comes out (or whatever it's going to be called)
- ReCkLeSsX, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I'll definitely look into getting Dig Dug.
- o0joshua0o, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I wish Nintendo would have sales on its Virtual Console games from time to time.
- Bartboy919, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I believe it is SSFTHDR
- Bartboy919, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Classic Sonic!
- CarzorStelatis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Perhaps this will make up for Speedball 2 and Sensible Soccer missing their release dates.
EDIT: I've seen the list, it doesn't. - haloplayer9672, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I totally agree with the bankshot billiards statement. $15 is a little too much for me.
- nickj6282, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I never claimed that they did, but they do pay the hosting provider don't they?
- HolyChimp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11 requires the vision camera, and the other is US only, unless you know the leet hacker way around that.
- jgerry, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Both Nintendo's and Microsoft's virtual console games are priced too high for a reason: They don't want you spending all your time playing cheap little games. They want you to buy the $50 - $60 games.
- jromz03, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I recommend Pac-man Championship Edition!
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Small Arms is pretty good. And $2 for 4 player offline or online Gauntlet action is pretty nice too.
- Corizzle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm picking up Zuma, Small Arms and Dig Dug for sure. Already got Gauntlet
- fuzzies, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1you can see into the future?!
- daggah, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0NES/SNES emulation > Wii Virtual Console.
- daggah, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Super Puzzle Fighter!
