I don't understand how that would work. All 4 of them on a LAN game, one as server, each one as a different camera? - lolhax, on 10/10/2007, -2/+30Put all the 360s in a LAN, load Forza Motorsport 2 on each console, then configure one 360 as a server, the rest as clients and it will allow you to specify which 360/display shows what part of the screen (front, front-left, front-right, etc).
- LordSkywalker, on 10/10/2007, -4/+25Knowing you're never gonna get laid: Priceless.
- Ocelot13, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20each console runs one screen/view.
- TacoBellMan, on 10/10/2007, -6/+19One xbox 360 can only handle the 3D rendering for one screen. So you need an xbox for each screen that you want to use to render the game on. Forza 1 supported this feature and it worked exactly the same. On another note I have played Forza 2 with a setup like this and it is sweet!! Dug for the cool factor even though I feel this is old news.
- Xanium4332, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13if you need to ask, you can't afford it.
- HappyScrappy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Each one is a different camera. 3 of them drive the big displays and one drives the tiny display just to the right of the wheel (the rear view mirror).
- Armank, on 10/10/2007, -4/+12I wish!
- Jleagle, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7They need a version with a clutch and gear stick to make it that more realistic, although the game would be harder...
- MonkeyFit, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Actually, you could put together a set-up like that for less than $10k, which is barely enough to buy a new sedan, depending on which make/model you choose. A real race car would be so much more than that.
- denao, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Correct me if I'm wrong but can't Forza 2 handle 8 screens with 8 systems for a full 360 degree 360 experience? I would probably have to re-mortgage my house though.
- tracer200, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I disagree, most people that play Forza are probably more interested in Le Mans style racing with the Corvettes, Porsches, Ferrari's, Mercedes, BMW's, and other high performance race cars. I say this because I downloaded/burned Forza 2 for the 360 and played it for about 30 minutes, the racing in that game is nothing like Nascar. Cup racing is far more interesting to me than Nascar, I know other people that play have played Forza and they also fell this way. T
- Xenogis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Twelve dollars.
- Bartboy919, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4They wanted a Zune to listen to music through the speakers? They could have done it with an iPod, but I guess they like how the zune interfaces with it.
- Matt174e, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Is he using a PSP as a rear view mirror?
- dacheetah, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6NASCAR fans only need two screens. One for straight Ahead, and one for left peripheral. They never need to look right...
- EricMiIIer, on 07/10/2009, -1/+5I'm married, sex has been off the table for a while.
- mattcoady, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6That was the original plan. Last I remember they cut it down to five, but I've never seen it set up that way, so I'm going to have to assume its been cut down to three.
Eight is just getting silly. You'd have tv's behind you, just to glance at occasionally. - benguild, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5But it's so cool :D
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -10/+13Why does he have so many Xbox's? Isn't only one necessary? Can anyone explain without flaming? Thanks!
- dmkemick, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Pretty cool but I don't know about the design, 4 Elites next to each other right below 3 TVs and right above various other components. Seems like it would get awfully hot, definitely a RROD risk.
- seraph582, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4yeah, so?
- Cobainy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3***** you, spamtard
- DCJoeDogaswell, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5To a racer fan... this must be what heaven looks like.
- Majin_Raditz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3if your going to spend that much on that kind of setup why not use a high end PC for the much prettier graphics?
- iMaciMan1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+31800 - Xbox Elites

7,323 not including the whole frame and seat - smacksaw, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I have no idea how much they want for this, but I'll bet it's probably about $15,000.
I think for that amount of money you could have even better "realism" by buying an old 5.0 Mustang and a Factory 5 kit and building yourself a kit Shelby Cobra.
I guarantee that is gonna get you laid. Forza (for as cool as it is), not so much. - BugMeNot2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3GameSpot did this on their On the Spot show.

It starts at 7:30. - EBFoxbat, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3People who watch NASCAR have no interest in such a setup.
- profingersk8er, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2who's digging him down? those who thinks Froza 2 is realistic obviously never played PC sims like GTR2 and LFS
- durzagott, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Is that a tiny rear-view mirror screen down by the steering wheel? It's just underneath the right-hand TV and looks like a PSP, or something...
- howyoudoin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4rear view mirror looks like a PsP
- RMoore08, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5Dugg down. Reason? You're stupid. Shut up.
- HappyScrappy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I've played Forza 2. I have every achievement except the 1,000,000 online credits. There will be a good review of it on that site I linked to some day.
It's a good game, but it's short on tracks and the wheel is disastrous.
PC gaming still exists because of stuff like the Forza 2 wheel. While a company like MS can lock up their console games so they only work with their own crappy wheel, this isn't viable on the PC. So I can go there to play great racing games on my great G25 wheel. - kf_man, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3or if you look again:
"Adjustable rear view Power Acoustik (PTM 750) 7" LCD display." - MrSidnet, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1In the description it says a Zune is used. Im wondering what it's used for.
- BearinG, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm pretty sure i've seen this a couple hundred times..
- pukiman, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Except there were four XBOX 360's in the shot (one server and three for the point of views).
- MrFisty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1And more variety in the tracks so it doesn't get so boring after an hour. The game desperately needs new tracks like the point-to-point and downhill ones from the original game.
- howyoudoin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1live for speed is lame! Toca 3 is where its at!
- colklink, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1From http://forzamotorsport.net/news/pitpassreports/pitpass28.htm:
Q: Wait, if it's basically just networking 3 boxes together, does that mean we can still play Forza 2 over Xbox Live, let's say, while running the game in triple-screen mode? Also, could you theoretically have a 360 degree cockpit mode with 6 Xbox 360s?
Aaron Ogus: Yes, multiscreen is fully enabled in Forza. That means all game modes are available including over Xbox Live. Although you could network more boxes to get a 360 degree view, you are already getting 180 degrees with 3 screens. The extra screens seem very expensive for a little more information. I would advocate instead using the “rear view” multi-screen setup where you can have a rear view on 1 monitor. That way you have a very accurate hires 360 degree view with just 1 more screen (for a total of 4 screens and 4 xboxes). Finally, to throw some numbers out there — if you are running a 3 screen multiscreen setup at 720p you are pumping over 600 Mbytes/sec of video data. And that’s just the final display data, that isn’t including all the intermediate data used to represent the scene. - Xenogis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Damn! I thought you would tell me about something priceless :(
- orgazmo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Seems like a waste to have a whole Xbox for a 7" rear view, but I guess money isnt really an issue at this point
- MrSidnet, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1So what's the Zune for....
- theone3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I get what you're saying, but to elaborate: It syncs up wirelessly with the XBox.
- dacheetah, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Despite being a big time fan of PC games over consoles, the 360s has alot of processing power, and with a seperate one for each screen can spit out some very pretty graphics...
Although, given that I own 3 monitors that have a native res of 1680x1050, maybe PCs would work better for me, since the 360 will render higher, and lower than 1680x1050, but will not to 1680x1050 itself... (I hope that there is an update soon to fix that.) - Calibretto23, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1wait a second... I always got yelled at for sitting close to the tv.... and this guy gets to sit that close to 3 tv's... he's gonna be super-blind
- RMoore08, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1It would be pointless I agree. But if I was loaded and had money to burn I would totally go for it.. I mean how cool would that be to turn around and see a car behind you?
- knetworx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Buried. Duplicate.
http://digg.com/xbox_360/The_Ultimate_Xbox_360_Racing_Setup - HappyScrappy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1No, why is is part of the package?
