Sci-fi MMOs have a history of just not doing so hot when it comes to having a massive playerbase and support. EVE and SWG are the two hightest competitors from the sci-fi genre, but they still don't even skim the surface of WoW's playerbase. And personally, I hate WoW. I'd love to see a successful sci-fi/cyberpunk MMO, but the problem is redundancy and rushing games to a deadline.
