- altodarknight, on 05/12/2008, -1/+3Yes it does, and it isn't new. This has been dicussed a few times throught the 360's life thus far. The first was when it was released when there was a lot of attempts being made to mod the console for homebrew etc. A guy came up with a youtube vid showing in browser emulators of a bunch of different consoles (can't find link sorry). It was again mentioned when the wii and ps3 came out with their browsers. There are quite a few youtube vids demoing it.
The only disadvantage is that it isn't running on the 360, rather on the media centre and video of the browser is streamed across from your media centre to the 360. So slowish connections, speed fluctuations can effect the fedelity of a web browsing experience and the interface isn't not as nice as say the PS3's browser (being that it was designed for the console and not to be used with a remote control) but its better than nothing.
