- sUGArDawg, on 07/04/2008, -4/+68"We'll Halo there"?? wtf is that supposed to mean
- twiztidsinz, on 07/04/2008, -6/+27***** it. We'll Halo live!
***** covenant SUCKS! - Raiderkid6, on 07/04/2008, -4/+22I think he meant "Well Hello there" but with halo
- rjc5056, on 07/04/2008, -3/+19My guess was it was a pun attempt on "Well, hello there!" but the submitter was just amazingly ignorant.
- Loco801, on 07/03/2008, -1/+16This actually looks like a good map
- TheMagicalMoose, on 07/04/2008, -2/+17I've always loved Ungie.
- haloplayer9672, on 07/04/2008, -1/+15Well, they think Bungie day is more important. I mean, 7/7 just looks cooler.
- dafin0, on 07/04/2008, -1/+13Bungies website, with Video about new map
http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topne ... - xino, on 07/04/2008, -1/+13Actually it is completely free in that you can use it to play custom games, use forge, watch saved films. Also, Bungie is reducing the cost of Legendary map pack to 600 MS points and taking away the Bungie Pro promotion.
- FUR10N, on 07/04/2008, -0/+11umm, why didn't you just link to the story that's actually on bungie.net?
- Thorpe, on 07/04/2008, -0/+9Yay for Bungie Day!
- Modestexcuse, on 07/03/2008, -3/+11That is great news that the map is free. I am surprised that they aren't releasing it prior to the 4th of July weekend. I plan on putting in plenty of hours this weekend.
- ryleyleckie, on 07/04/2008, -1/+8@chedabob, you obviously don't have a clue what he meant by "doesn't if you're from england."
do you think 9/11 "looks cool"
*****. - KlassyGuy, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7Bravo for the fantastic grammar mrsaleem. Dugg for the free maps and to show the world stupidity.
- kinseyincanada, on 07/04/2008, -1/+8sweet free stuff is always better.
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6yes helo america i ned you pepols to send me food. preferense : banana
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6You're poor, you can't afford o's and e's.
- onlynameicanget, on 07/05/2008, -0/+6Not me. I broke the rules of the Internet by enjoying both games.
- sUGArDawg, on 07/04/2008, -3/+8You are too poor for $10? Time to re-examine your budget
- Tophillious, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5Kickin balls. I'll have a reason to get addicted to Halo again.
- mediaphile, on 07/05/2008, -0/+5You do realize that these aren't user submitted maps. They're quality maps released by Bungie. Made by people who make maps for a living, and who do them well. And the maps are only for-pay when they first come out; after a few months, they're released for free, and become integrated into the normal map rotation.
- LimeParrot, on 07/04/2008, -4/+9Kudos to Bungie for not charging for it, but it's not completely "free" (to which the title alludes). It's playable in the playlists which require the Legendary map pack, which I don't have (too poor!) So I won't be able to play it =(
- Robbothehood, on 07/04/2008, -1/+5Perhaps using Halo as a verb meaning: Play Halo?
- Sairgem, on 07/05/2008, -0/+4Damnation would like a word with you.
- Acglaphotis, on 07/04/2008, -3/+7Oh, don't tell me, you are one of those people who think PC gamers cannot for the love of god own a console.
- UsablePuddle, on 07/04/2008, -4/+8Dosen't if your from England!
But i see your point, Bungie day seems more appropriate than independence day. - Konrad9, on 07/05/2008, -1/+4Uh, what?
You need it to play matchmaking, but you don't have to buy anything to get this map.
Other than the game, that is. - xino, on 07/05/2008, -1/+4I am guessing you never bought, but pirated every PC game you have because by buying the game, you paid for the maps that came with it which is a waste of money in your mind.
- DaviDaviDaviD, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3It's a Chill Out remake, it was my favourite map from Halo 1. Thanks for making it free Bungie!
- srgtTarantula, on 07/07/2008, -0/+3...like humping your mom for free?
- Jordan117, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3It's stuff like this that makes Bungie such an awesome company. I mean, they spent countless hours of work designing and testing this map, and now they're giving it away for free, just 'cause it's Bungie Day.
- chiefbandit2200, on 07/05/2008, -0/+3We will all perform a High Altitude-Low Opening jump into the map.
- ExRe, on 07/04/2008, -1/+4COD4 may be a better game, but I for one do enjoy new Halo 3 maps (especially if forge is decent on it).
- FreckleEars, on 07/07/2008, -0/+2The Legendary map pack is going down to 600 points for new buyers.
- SaladCactusKing, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3I guess it doesn't require a firm grasp of the english language to game your way through Digg's system and hit the front page for every single submission you make.
- Megaten, on 07/04/2008, -3/+5Well, considering Chill Out most certainly is the best Halo map to date, I'd say its remake should damn well better look 'good'.
- NipGrip, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3Amazingly ignorant perfectly describes your average Halo player. Have you heard them talk on Live!?
- Suzuka09, on 07/04/2008, -2/+4Its actually one of my least favorite (Prepares to be buried by Halo fanboys)
- Konrad9, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2The map is free : |
- RogueJediX, on 07/06/2008, -0/+2What the hell are you burying him down for? He's right, you know.
Shoot 'em ups: Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Dodonpachi, Raptor, R-Type, Gradius, etc.
Halo is a first person shooter, dammit! - illustrick, on 07/05/2008, -1/+3i love halo, but lately, it has been sucking hardcore, it feels like people are trying to cheat more, and the net code is garbage as hell, i have to agree that i like COD4 better, and it pains me to say that, cause i am all about halo, i have the legendary helmet and everything. but i keep on getting bridged in RBTB, which is *****, and getting matched with a team of all 50s. i mean, i know i am not the best, but i dont suck either.
/end rant - Gimjee, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2I hope they keep releasing better maps, and hopefully free. It's the only thing that can keep Halo 3 alive at this point. It's still a really fun social game.
- Brutal, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2Now I get it!
It's short for "We will play Halo on this map" - battletrax, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Heroic Map Pack = 800 microsoft points
Legendary Map Pack = 800 Microsoft Points
Cold Storage = Priceless - Sairgem, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Finally? All maps for Halo 2 and 3 have been made free after so long, aside from the newest ones which will certainly be free eventually. While I agree all the halo maps are overpriced when you have to pay for them (I still pay for them...), you can't complain too much when you can just wait a couple months and get them for nothing.
- BaldyNapper, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1we'll? moron
- knetworx, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1What about the a and the s he's missing?
- Christbait, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1CBA.
- battletrax, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1watch this map becomes the most played map on xbox live.
- remyD, on 07/05/2008, -1/+2Oh? And when is the next free map for that game coming out? No free maps? How about a second map pack? No again, huh?
