twitter.com — This is an update to yesterday's "Wow, You're a MORON" story (http://digg.com/xbox/WOW_You_re_a_MORON). According to the victim's twitter updates, the kid saw his face on the internet and decided to return the laptop. Now, how about the TV and xbox. Once again, good work diggers.

The kid obviously a) knew where to return the laptop to start with b) wouldn't just return the laptop he bought to a random person and lose $. So, he must know who has the xbox/tv since chances are, he didn't carry all that out of the house by himself. Who were his accomplices? Roachy? Tabitha (or whatever her name was)? .. This case isn't over yet.

        He harmed the original owner's sense of security leaving him uncomfortable in his own home. That doesn't go away.
        He cost the original owner money and time. That cannot be earned back.
        He basically, and in a very ***** way, threatened the original owner. That, too, will remain in the owner's mind.

I am willing to bet at least two people were involved so they most likely split up the goods so thats why he only returned the laptop and not the xbox 360 and tv. He needs to rat out the other guy so the real owner can get his ***** back.

      I know how the owner feels, I just got my laptop stolen a week ago from my house. And of course there is nothing the police can do about it. They don't have the resources, probably because those resources are being spent prosecuting all those dangerous pot smoking villains out there.

I'm glad the person in this case got his laptop back, but I sure hope none of the people involved in posting this minor's personal info get in trouble the way the camcorder owner did.
