- slikk115, on 11/18/2007, -6/+775Achievement Unlocked: You found a female.
- sjbdallas, on 11/18/2007, -8/+434Hmm.....i've got a pretty good idea that chicks hear the same things on DIGG.
- DFENS, on 11/18/2007, -37/+387Does this idiot realize everyone gets trash talked on XBL, not just women? I've heard some of the most vile things on there - if a slightly sexist comment is the worst she's heard, she should be happy.
- jmpeagle, on 11/18/2007, -8/+202you deserve all that if your domain is "hawtymcbloggy.com"
- bobcrotch, on 11/18/2007, -33/+212The most common attribute for a female gamer is being a complete attention whore, too.
- Snuff99, on 11/18/2007, -20/+173And people ***** on Nintendo for being hesitant about voice communication on the Wii. Some people just want to play the damn game and not have to listen to punk kids trying to work their colorful vocabularies.
- Lixie, on 11/18/2007, -10/+156My only complaint about most female gamers is that tend to play only with a group of ***** guys. If you ever encounter a female gamer with a mic on, chances are she's in there with 3-4 other guy friends. Not a bad thing, But for some reason these guys are always offensive douche bags who insult and demean the rest of the room. It's like they feel the need to put on a performance of dominance in front of their female friend. So it's not the girl gamers I have a problem with, it's the ***** they bring around with them who constantly refer to the rest of the players as "little bitches" or such.
- ruthless34, on 11/18/2007, -10/+146I played with your mom once...

- xlop, on 11/18/2007, -22/+137Buried as inaccurate. The Xbox would overheat in the kitchen long before she actually got onto Live.
- sgtbutterscotch, on 11/18/2007, -4/+117What are you talking about? Where would you put a video game system in the kitchen?
- hinchy34, on 11/18/2007, -4/+114that made me laugh more than the article itself
- bradcrc, on 11/18/2007, -4/+112I respect a girl who is willing and able to beat me with one hand.
*sends friend request - lemorex, on 11/18/2007, -3/+97I played with a 50 year old woman once....
- solesoul, on 11/18/2007, -3/+87I'm never gonna get that achievement. Been trying for years :(

Ass. - princessToBe, on 11/18/2007, -12/+76so true I hear it all the time things like "there are no females on digg" then my response is "i forgot you like digg being sausage party of a website" then i think to myself why are guys pushing females away from themselfs are those guys gay or something?
- wearescience, on 11/18/2007, -0/+62Careful...I had a friend who did that once and he contracted a form of syphilis that doctors had previously thought extinct.
- QuickeningYak, on 11/18/2007, -22/+81Not clever. Really.
- graduisic, on 11/18/2007, -4/+62Wow.. get a clue, he was being sarcastic dude
- Klarth, on 11/18/2007, -15/+72Maybe if female gamers weren't seemingly always trying to justify themselves like this, people wouldn't bitch about them anywhere near as much. Come on now, we get it, you have *****. You're neither superior nor inferior.
- GMorgan, on 11/18/2007, -10/+60I think there appears to be more girls on digg than there truly are. This is because they tend to post more useful comments than the vast majority of boys here, hence they are more visible.
I rarely see girls dugg down to oblivion. They seem to have failed to develop a trolling gene or a childish gene. For this there is much thanks to be given. - Petzke, on 11/18/2007, -1/+50So pretty much just like real life then?
- houndeyex, on 11/18/2007, -2/+49Are you a girl? I bet you're hot.
- inactive, on 11/18/2007, -2/+46I play on live a lot (I'm a guy btw) and I've think it's both hilarious and sad to listen to annoying guys actually try to pick up girls online and half the time they sound like it's their first time hearing a female voice besides their moms.
- xlop, on 11/18/2007, -2/+46This just in: Some people use voice to communicate with teammates in games involving strategy.

Barbie Horse Adventures! - staplez, on 11/18/2007, -4/+42I know it's silly to answer this question seriously, but I can't help it. So basically you're dealing with a lot of boys who are 16 years old or less. At this time, what scares them the most is they're starting to realize the fact that they do need girls, as much as most of them would hate to admit that. Most of them are at this point getting let down or rejected by girls in class and just generally real life. This leads to a cognitive dissonance which causes them to lash out at the very thing they need, IE girls. Thus, when they see a girl online, in their safe haven area, they freak out. They're unable to comprehend what's happening. The elusive creature that is females, is suddenly interested in similar things they are!? What to do if you felt helpless and alone, dejected by so many girls? You lash out. Thus all the strange comments. I would say 80% of the stupid boys probably fall into this category. It's the 20% we should all just really really feel sad for. Since, they never grew out of the 16 year old phase, and probably never will. Basically what I'm saying is if you're over 16 and you're still going ZOMG, YOU'RE A GIRL PLAYING A GAME!? Um, hey cheetos taste good right fatty?
- ruley, on 11/18/2007, -5/+42http://xkcd.com/322/
- cr4wl3r, on 11/18/2007, -1/+35Dugg down. Girls don't use digg.
- Dylan47, on 11/18/2007, -1/+35strictly speaking, middle school boys should be classified as girls.
- Iwantawii, on 11/18/2007, -3/+37Whooooooooooooooooooosh
- kevlarbaboon, on 11/18/2007, -3/+37i'm pretty sure you can turn it off.
- SteveKubrick, on 02/11/2008, -0/+31Damn! Where did I put that little book of gaming chat up lines...
"So... you come to Blood Gulch often?" - Gir53457, on 11/18/2007, -3/+32Buried cause all the cool kids are doing it.
- coldfirenj, on 11/18/2007, -6/+35Me and my girlfriend play Halo 3 alot and I have to say that people on Xbox Live dick heads. I won't even let her take the mic anymore because people get so stuipid.
- xlop, on 11/18/2007, -1/+25You're hot, do you have a myspace?
- stubadub, on 11/18/2007, -3/+27And those people can neglect to wear the communicator to avoid both talking to anyone and hearing what they have to say. Everyone's happy.
- crossmr, on 11/18/2007, -4/+27you know what else you two should play? High school English. It is a hoot.
- Rayor, on 11/18/2007, -2/+24Middle school boys have been know to exhibit that behavior.
- notque, on 11/18/2007, -1/+23You would never guess just how many middle aged adults troll. It's shocking.
- Genevera, on 11/18/2007, -2/+24As a female gamer, I started reading that list expecting to get a chuckle out of something "funny because it's true". And I will give her credit that her list of quotes is extremely accurate. Every female playing a predominately male game can expect to hear all of those comments at one point or other. However, my enjoyment was somewhat marred by her list of supposedly pithy responses. I'm sorry, sweetie. You tried for the funny, but just wound up with massive fail. Better luck next time.
- elnerdo, on 11/18/2007, -0/+21Summary: People are stupid.
- Lixie, on 11/18/2007, -1/+22And the other 6 percent lie.
- TheKarmaPolice, on 11/18/2007, -7/+28i can't believe she quoted me without giving credit! um...i mean...i love to respect women...?
- houndeyex, on 11/18/2007, -0/+21Not uncommon to encounter grandma's playing World of Warcraft. But seriously, who the ***** DON'T you encounter playing World of Warcraft?
