The main reason why I wont is because it only holds 20 gigs, which is about 12 something gigs left. Why the ***** did Microsoft think this was a good idea? If it had 120 gigs, I would probably consider it. The color choice is also kind of off. The orange is really cool, but the green, well, it looks like someone painted it with vomit.

blkguynmdben, on 10/10/2007, -7/+12As much as I love Halo. I would never consider buying something so god-awfully ugly. I don't know anyone who has a home theater system in which that would blend in, Plus, only 20BGB? give me a break; after formatting and loading up with updates and such that leaves way too little disk space. It's only redeeming quality is HDMI and I can get that on the Elite for a little bit more money. I don't know who thought this console up but I recommend he/she stay away from the design dept. from now until the end of time.

ybnormalman, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8What the hell is with the bright blue cables? I get that the blue is a "Halo color" as it were, but seriously? Blue or green, pick one - don't mix them together like a kid mixing sodas at the fountain. It didn't taste good back then, and it doesn't look good now.

GibbyVA, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You have proof of this? I have not seen it confirmed yet if the 65 or 90 are in this version. If this turns out to have the new chipset then IMO it is well worth the extra $50 for the 65+hdmi since it will most likely be '08 before all the elite 90skus are sold and you arent playing a game of chance as to what version your buying. I'm sure it will be confirmed by weeks end the internals of the halo editon and if its a 65 I'll be buying this version, ugly or not.

rufo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Y'know... I was actually thinking it would look better "in the real world" then it did in the marketing mock-ups; but quite honestly, that's rather hideous looking. The completely bland, uninspired-looking controller really bothers me, and the green isn't quite as Master Chief green as it should be.

I sort of wanted one (even though it would permanently brand me a marketing tool for life), but now I just think I'll stick to getting a 2nd Premium w/HDMI.

s1mph0ny, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Downloadable content for games you already have. Gears had some pretty sizable add-on maps, Halo 3 and GTA4 certainly will. Whenever Unreal Tournament 3 comes out it will probably have huge add-ons as well. Question is, do you really want to run a game that big on your console?
