- truspector, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15I want one bad, but there's no way I'd pay more than the cost of the game itself for it.
- Jholder112233, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6If you order Bioshock off play.com you get a free faceplate. Granted, its different to this one ... but its still cool!

- Ocelot13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3high price? if you want to see high prices faceplates, check out the e3 '05 ones or launch ones. look better too.
- BluFox, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4I can see why they're going for so much. Bioshock is one of the best games I've ever played. A store near me broke the street date. This is the GOTY.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Agreed.
NEVER stand your 360 up. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3You're both morons. The only way the system can scratch your disks while it's standing up is if you TILT it while the disc is spinning inside it. Common ***** sense.
I, and many millions of other people, keep our 360 standing up-right and we have no problems whatsoever. - NoQuarter, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2"This edition of Bioshock with Free Xbox 360 Faceplate has now sold out. Customers who have already pre-ordered this edition will automatically receive the faceplate with their game. The faceplate will be dispatched with the game on the day of release. The standard edition of Bioshock is still available for pre-order."
I ordered mine a few days ago, hopefully I got in before it sold out. - Silentshadow900, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This is kind of lame because I saw one of those faceplates at my local gamestop behind the counter. I asked the guy there what they were going to do with it and he said he was going to keep it duh.
- Kurisuku, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Limited edition preorders are sold out. That doesn't happen for pretty much any game.
- dj88masterchief, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Haha suckers i got mine for free from my local eb game manager he's such a nice guy. The only thing he wanted from the pack was the raffle to win a life size big daddy that would be sick to win one of those!!!
- Kurisuku, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You know damn well the developers don't see that 60 bucks you spend.
- Balgor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1In terms of most games yes, I would agree. But Dreamcast games? The only way you can find them now a days is second hand. Even then, they're getting harder and harder to find. In that context, you comment really doesn't make sense.
- Septimus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Meh, got the face plate free, which is nice, but it's not worth paying for.
- apescissors, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I got a free one for pre ordering from play.com. They can't be that rare can they? Or will it be a different one?
- ch0pst1cks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2There are only 5,000 faceplates. They'll still be collectible.
- Kurisuku, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1No, it just feels like every other boring FPS I've ever played.
It also doesn't feel like it it should have any relation at all to the System Shock series. This game was made for a bunch of kids with ADD. It burns you out quick because it just isn't interesting. In about 1-2 hours it's a yawnfest. - TheColonel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Anyone seen any of the plasmid pens popping up yet? :)
- estvir, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3No one is forcing you to read these stories or even stay on Digg, go outside you loser.
- Sithseth, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3This game may be the next great things, hell, it might make video games into a legit form of art. But, it will never have a huge fan base, in my opinion, just out of the fact that it's not an on-line multiplayer FPS. I'm sure many people will argue that a great game can never be forgotten, but it will never stay the best game ever conceived.
Remember, money is money, save yours for another day, and don't by crap for video games like this, especially that stupid halo3 collectors bull crap... - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Wrong.
Standing your 360 up causes the disc catcher to sometimes slip - which is why if you do stand it up, you'll have rings around the back of your discs.
Laying it down normal doesn't produce this effect. No disc playing system is designed to be stood up unless the disc is properly mounted and sealed in place like the Wii.
LearnEngineeringplz. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Just like Robin Hood! except it takes money from stupid people and gives it to smarter ones.
- Endeavorer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What hell is this? I'm confused...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I don't want it because I will have to stand my 360 on end and it will scratch my disks that way
- bagboyrebel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1yeah, only the overhyped games that don't really deserve the amount of attention they get. Besides, I just preordered the regular version
- xxbrighteyed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1why buy any games then?
to support worthwhile developers you dick
be my guest, however, if you want to download Madden 08 - ChildeRoland420, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1No. Never stand it up while it's powered on and there's a disc in it.
- Dustmuffins, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's a different one.
- apescissors, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Oh well. Anyone know where to see the faceplate that play.com are giving away?
- apescissors, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It's a bit of plastic that you put on the front of your xbox 360. The front of the 360 is removable so that you can put your own on there.
- Vazel, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'd rather pay that much dough for a Lost Planet faceplate(There's one up on eBay for $99.99). Not that I would actually pay that much for a freaking faceplate.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2You guys don't remember games before the internet.... There was no such thing as multiplayer..... I think games were actually at the time better than most of the stuff of today. They were inovative , smart and well programed because they concentrated on the game not 2 seperate games like when they tack on multiplayer... example Perfect Dark or The Darkness.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'm *so* glad there are impatient morons in this world who will pay ANYTHING to get a game even 3 days early.
I'm gonna make some hefty profit come Halo 3 time :) - Infekted, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1date on this picture is nice!
http://i16.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/b0/95/075a_1.JPG - MercFox1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Some friend of mine tried to tell me yesterday that this game will be good...for a month. I practically wasted his ass as I explained that, whenever a game completely changes the attitude of publishers, elevates art and story to all-time highs, and provides a gaming experience no less than epic, no matter what stupid multiplayer it may or may not have, you have a game that will be remembered in the annals of gaming history.
That said, it's hard to imaging shelling out that kind of cash for a faceplate like that, but there are some people who would camp in line for days to get the next version of Halo, so rampant obsession is hardly new and hardly surprising. - Matt174e, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Couldn't get past the first mission, eh?
Yeah... me neither.
/sarcasm - xxbrighteyed, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2oh, you speak only the truth... BioShock hasn't been hyped at aallll, and Halo seems to be far superior to what i've seen of BioShock
- sb76117, on 10/10/2007, -5/+4i will! at 3:30 in the morning... but your moms a hooker
- hpcjosh, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0gah! microsoft. instead of selling faceplate that are way over price why dont u fix my cousin's 360 and/or replace it with one that wont overheat in 2 hours of gameplay or something that cant help keep it cool.
- CutRock, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1This guy thinks it's in bad taste to make $100 off something that's purely cosmetic? Who wouldn't sell one for that much? Bioshock is a good game, yes, but that doesn't mean that you need to be out a hundred dollars because you want to prove how hardcore of a fan you are by using a colorful piece of plastic.
On a side note: I'm not all that impressed with Bioshock. It's really repetitive (at least the demo was). I was almost bored by the time I finished it. Looking forward to playing all the way through, regardless. - TacticalPenguin, on 10/10/2007, -6/+4Because people waste their money because of a bunch of 10s before the game is even out.
- bigbadgoat, on 10/10/2007, -7/+5what? you'd figure they'd at give one to one of their own. Doesn't Microsoft know how to treat it's employees?
- sb76117, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2the best thing about the game that compared to halo, it came out of nowhere. halo might be better but im tired of it's hype!
- Kurisuku, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2Eh... I got bored with it in about an hour.
- xSeg, on 10/10/2007, -4/+150-100 bucks... are you kidding that's not a lot at all. a few k would be a lot
- Vicujozobenaxod, on 10/10/2007, -9/+4I'm not sure what's sadder: the neurotic obession over the game, or the neurotic obsession over an accessory to a game, which has not even come out yet. Capitalize while you can, ebayers, that will be worth nothing a month after the game is out.
- smacksaw, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1Why would you trade for Dreamcast games when you can just copy/burn them from your friends or torrents?
- sb76117, on 10/10/2007, -6/+0just got done reading the last bioshock post/review only to find another post waiting for me, and i dont even own 360 anymore. thanks digg for wasting my friday night.
- nublet, on 10/10/2007, -12/+1buried as "stupid ***** ebayers"

What is Digg?
