- sundancekid503, on 11/21/2007, -2/+36Vegas, again? Don't get me wrong, it was fun the first time around, but a little change of scenery might be nice.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+25out-of-place? The setting was Vegas! The entire city is a giant publicity.
- greenlant00, on 11/21/2007, -9/+31Vegas was the best game for 360 until Call of Duty 4 came out.
- Gerfervonbob, on 11/21/2007, -1/+14Hurray! Maybe they wont dumb this version down and give us tactical planning and missions, so it isn't just another corridor shooter with a cover system.
- MewTwo, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1212 year old kids are
- ComradeMikhail1, on 11/21/2007, -0/+7How many times can terrorists take over the same city? How about Rainbow Six Nebraska? Also we have much more than cows.
- Meepzorzes, on 11/21/2007, -0/+6how are you surprised, the game ended with a cliffhanger, a second one was kind of implied wasn't it?
- navster15, on 11/21/2007, -0/+5In fact, I almost wished they had more ads (in variety). Seeing that same Axe ad on bus stops and that Dodge ad on billboards got a little annoying.
- inajeep, on 11/21/2007, -0/+5I'm sure it won't be your first block.
- pegisys, on 11/21/2007, -0/+5a few reviews I read said the the frame rate sucked on the PS3, so bad it was unplayable at times, that's a pretty high cost for the game to look the same. I would rather a slight less pretty game that ran solidly.
Ubi has a pretty bad track record with the PS3 so far - Postalwrker27, on 11/21/2007, -3/+8I was thinking the next would be set in Washington DC. Then we'd get to take out a REAL terrorist threat.
- fLUx1337, on 11/21/2007, -1/+6Not really bothered where it is set.....I just love Rainbow Six!!
IMO, it rates above Halo3 online, just because I still play it today, nearly a year after its release. For a game with only a fraction of halos hype, I think it deserves some praise from me!! - Seidoger, on 11/21/2007, -0/+5Im not American, but I think Sin City is a nickname for Las Vegas
- EvilCan, on 02/26/2008, -0/+4Don't get your hopes up.
- EvilCan, on 02/26/2008, -0/+4I hope that was sarcasm.
- DewCrew88, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4Maybe they wont screw up the spawns in presidio this time....
- Azimuth1, on 11/21/2007, -3/+6***** yeah!
I don't really want it to be set in Vegas again though... - Tserk, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3When Ubi releases a sequel that soon we get 1.5, not 2.0 products. We could also use a good fps release in August. Knowing Ubi though, an announcement for March actually means an August release, so I talk back what I said you miserable piece of *****.
- Ignitedude, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I hate to sound sarcastic, but really, who didn't see this one coming?
- axis, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger. The game was pretty fun, but the storyline in some of these FPS are all pretty much the same. Some lunatic with a bomb, must...stop...before...end of world. Then again, it is a tactical shooter, so I guess that is what it should be, lol.
- youMISERABLEpos, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3MUST PROTECT THE CORN!!!!
- Dracusis, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2Maybe it will gain traction on the PC as an online shooter this time around. Last time it was too system intensive to reach the critical mass that would keep the the online part alive in most countries. Hopefully the UE3 has been tweaked enough for it to run as well as the UT3 demo did. GRAW for the PC suffered a similar fate, and it will happen again with Crysis. If the top of the line video card can't run the game at 1920x1200@60fps then MP is doomed to fail on the PC.
- Chirp08, on 11/21/2007, -2/+4And I've read that assassins creed is laggy towards the end on the ps3, but it's not like every game on the 360 runs flawless. I hope it runs great on both, so half you people would shut the ***** up and just enjoy the game.
- sgyoung, on 11/21/2007, -0/+2yeah! Another shooter game! I don't think I've ever played something like this!
- nonymous666, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1They're just announcing it now? Given the way the first game just sorta suddenly ended, I'd have thought they had a #2 in the works already back then.
- Echuta, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1Less casinos, twice the hookers.
- huntersquid, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1Not to mention that the PC version is also buggy as hell. Almost every post on the general and tech support forum for R6V PC is about some kind of glitch or bug, or lacking feature. Despite this, it was still pretty good, but too system-intensive when it came out.
- theTranquil, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1Any day now they'll release "Rainbow Six: Reno"
- Echuta, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1Las Vegas is where we send the British people; hence the nickname Sin City.
- sundancekid503, on 11/21/2007, -3/+4I guess I'm surprised because I only made it about 3/4 of the way through before my 360 red-ringed :)
- sevvo, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1I concur.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -2/+3RSV got ***** up on the PS3.
- navster15, on 11/21/2007, -3/+4I don't think it would matter too much, seeing the bag up job Ubisoft did with Assassin's Creed. I defy anyone to tell the difference between the 360 and PS3 versions of that game. As long as they expand on the co-op aspect of Vegas, I'll be a happy camper.
- youMISERABLEpos, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2Nice. Rainbow Six Vegas had the best online multiplayer until CoD:4 came out. With - CoD:4, Halo3, RainbowSix:Vegas, GRAW:2, Fight Night 3, Gears of War, Forza 2, TeamFortress 2, Madden, all running beautifully on XboxLive.. I RARELY play any PS3.. well, maybe because it only has 1 game worth owning, Ninja Gaiden: Sigma.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1I haven't played Rainbow Six Vegas, but I'm going go out on a limb here and guess the cliffhanger... Did Rainbow Six not kill ALL the terrorists?!
- zioxide, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1Yeah.. the "to be continuted" was a pretty good clue.
- Echuta, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1Must be new...One of the (few) nice things about digg users is that this is uncommon (in the threads I read).
- Tserk, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2March 2008 is too soon.
- cavie2002, on 11/21/2007, -1/+2so this is just an expansion pack im guessing??
- adamchristopher, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1cliffhanger? there was a storyline?
- shit, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1I hope the co-op mode isn't borked this time around. Take a note from Gears and Halo, Ubisoft, cutscenes during co-op is OK (just give me the option to skip them).
- directive0, on 11/21/2007, -0/+1Same thing just happened to me with portal, ***** WEAK!
- Echuta, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1Street Edition with Pets Expansion Pack
Oh wait it was Bioware that was eaten by EA not Ubi... - solinent, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1You mean, Rainbow Three Vegas 2
Or,
Rainbow Three Vegas 2: New York RELOADED - fixedcoma, on 11/24/2007, -0/+1 it may be in vegas ,but the places will be different!
- JEAH, on 11/22/2007, -0/+1So Vegas is taken over by hundreds of terrorists and they send in a three man strike team?? The premise is so dumb for a lot of reasons. This "ghost recon in rainbox six clothing" game is fun, but I liked the original rainbow six games so much more.
- rockocamel, on 11/21/2007, -2/+2Glad theyre making a sequel was my favourite game online of 2006, i hope this time you can get a knife !
- HCJfilms, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1Now if only the defending team could pick up the package....
- BugMeNot2, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1It's far more ***** up on the PC.
- adamchristopher, on 11/21/2007, -1/+1there are so many more options with vegas. i am glad they aren't leaving.
