Shadowrun for example, nothing special with the graphics at all, yet it is an addictive and VERY fun games. Gameplay is what sells games. Which is why the Wii is doing so well. I don't care what you say the graphics on the Wii suck yet it is selling like crazy because the gameplay for the games are so good. Which is why Halo is popular in the first place. Halo 1 didn't have amazing graphics but it did pretty good. Who cares about the graphics. Look at Mass Effect. Those graphics suck. Stop complaining.

they finally did - Aharoni, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9The first trailer was using in-game graphics, but there is still a huge difference in animation between actual playable sections of the game and cinematics. The graphics are pretty much the same level of the graphics shown in the first trailer but the difference in the animation is what causing it to look "different" and "less real". But that is with every game.
The second trailer was pure CGI and Bungie kept saying it OVER AND OVER AGAIN. If you still didn't get it - thats your problem. Dont get me wrong. They may be great... but Unreal "Gears" has small lvls and minimal characters on the screen. And I would like to see how Unreal the game with larger environments will handle on the 360. And as for Crysis Im still waiting for 360 vids to see how dumbed down they game is going to be

I'm excited about the way Halo is shaping out to look. Sure, doesn't compare to crisis, but nothing does at the moment, but its still damn fine. Plus, I dont know about you, but I play video games for fun.
