I'd go in, take my mod chip out, pop it in a friends box long enough to run the XB-hd creator and get them softmodded. It was a 750 Mhz processor for one, which didn't run exceptionally hot, and the heatsink wasn't all that impressive. Certainly less than what was on my 750 cpu when I had one.
          It would nicely mod out with that wooden case. Hell, Lee Valley sells adhesive wood veneers. The whole project could be done in a weekend.

Sure, the 360 can get an internal/external BluRay drive, but games will never be blu ray like they are on PS3, there would be too many backwards compatibility issues (since the past games are not blu ray format) So basically a Blu ray drive on a 360 = just a blu ray video player.

    Any decent modder could throw together a wooden Xbox 360...

    ...but wood retains so much heat it'd get RRoD almost instantly, maybe not such a good idea....same thing with waterproofing the thing, the heat buildup would cause RRoD.

    But seriously, 78 achievements! Xbox Live Board Game! USB compatible, probably could even be hacked to run on Linux.

    NOT April Fools - I fixed my RRoD myself, look for the X clamp fix if you have no warranty and need to fix RRoD.
