Great combination of anatomy, emphasis, stylism and old school brushwork ! (thats not even getting into the use of color and the shading)

I *want* my video games to look like video games. And Street Fighter 4 will be an awesome mixture of cartoonishness and higher level art.

The gameplay itself is still 2D in the sense that you can only move backwards or forwards, however in some levels (namely in what looked like Chun Li's level in the first gameplay footage released) you saw that if one of the fighters moved back far enough, they would go down a side street and fight from a VERY SLIGHTLY shifted perspective. From a control and gameplay standpoint, however, it's still 2D.
Honestly, I don't think Street Fighter moves would translate well to 3D... - woohhaa, on 02/08/2008, -1/+7Sneaky bastard!

I was a huge fan of all of the SF2 series and 2. I am excited to see where it goes artistically. They really focused a lot on the abnormality but they missed the biggest thing.
