- SteveThePlank, on 12/15/2008, -1/+4As great as the Xbox 360 is, ***** you Microsoft.
- INTERNETMASTER, on 12/15/2008, -0/+2are we learning from our mistakes yet?
- BustedChain, on 12/14/2008, -3/+5Thank you very much for the diggs. I don't want a handout here, I just want Microsoft to send me a new console to replace my one under warranty BEFORE Christmas instead of after Christmas!!!!
- inactive, on 12/15/2008, -3/+4"Yeah but if he bought a PS3 instead, he'd then be stuck with a ***** console and a big hole in his wallet."
So instead he bought a 360, is stuck with a ***** non working console and a big hole in his wallet.
At least the PS3 would actually play games - Snokage, on 12/15/2008, -2/+3please die.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 12/15/2008, -1/+2Thanks for publicizing your experience. I'm on my 4th xbox myself.
- BustedChain, on 12/20/2008, -0/+0Are you talking about me here? Was it a mistake to want to watch a movie on Netflix? No. Was it a mistake to actually use my console? Was it a mistake to have a 360? No, I enjoy the games on it a lot. I got a PS3 a couple weeks ago and it is cool, but the 360 is better over all. The PS3 has better media support and some exclusive games and its online is free but not as good.
Considering I won the 360 from a contest back during the launch and all I've bought are games, content, and accessories and most of those at a significant discount... nah not a mistake at all. The only mistake here is Microsoft's design of the 360 and their infereor "repair" process. - BustedChain, on 12/15/2008, -1/+1Hey Zamfir: You are being an IDIOT! Just thought I would clear that up. I have a PS3. I just got it last week. I did buy SingStar for my wife. She is getting SingStar ABBA for Christmas along with Lips for the XBOX360 even though the 360 is being sent in for repair. Oh yeah, and I never paid anything for my XBOX 360... I won it for free. I have paid a bunch for all the games, accessories, and downloadable content though. Zamfir, please go roll around in a cow pasture. Your BS won't smell as bad over there.
There is no reason to "give up" on the 360 if they will replace/repair it. I just want them to replace it this week instead of 2 weeks from now. - ThsGuyRightHere, on 12/15/2008, -2/+2Funny you should mention that. While I've had multiple Xboxes die, my PS3 died within a month of opening it. That's even worse than the MTBF on my xbox.
- SteveThePlank, on 12/15/2008, -3/+3Yeah but if he bought a PS3 instead, he'd then be stuck with a ***** console and a big hole in his wallet.
- Zamfir, on 12/14/2008, -6/+3If you haven't given up on Microsoft after the 3rd failure, then I have no sympathy for you. ***** consumers are stupid... why anyone would buy ***** from Microsoft I'll never understand. You should have bought your wife a PlayStation 3 with Singstar - a vastly superior singing game. "Lips"!? WTF?
