I've replaced my console twice, in just one hour each, with the Best Buy warranty, and I now have the latest, HDMI enabled premium with dual heatsinks and all that jazz. Don't know anyone yet whose dual-heatsink 360 has broken on them... but honestly I hope mine does break in a couple of years before the warranty expires so I can once again get the latest version.
I couldn't be happier about my 360's functionality. Even though I've gone through two already, it's all come out for the better, with reimbersment for the $50 price drop, HDMI, newer hardware, and quieter drives.
Knowing all the great experiences I've had with my 360 over the last two years, I sincerly pitty anyone who STILL doesn't have one. - spinningobo, on 10/29/2007, -2/+13Somebody bought one.

There is a 3 year warranty on those things, the 360 hasn't even been out for 3 years so there's no reason why anyone has to buy another one unless they're just impatient little swines with no lives and can't be bothered waiting for it to come back from MS.

XboX live's matchmaking and interactive playability really bring the experience to life. I've never been a fan of Microsoft, but they did something right with this console.
