For me, the Wii is currently a paperweight whereras I use my 360 daily either for games (ShadowRun FTW, various kiddie demos to lay with my 3 year old...tomorrow Bioshock) or streaming movies. Then again, I have a job and children so my playtime is usually late at night so I really appreciate LIVE.
I can get how people in school will enjoy the party aspect of the Wii more....I just hope they stop selling half assed GC ports and come up with original titles. I'm banking it all on Mario Galaxy for me. - robuk24, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Although Halo3 does look great I'm not a fan. I might consider picking up a 360 for bioshock and mass effect. I'd rather spend my money on a new PC though - crisis, orange box, ut3... drool /dugg

- Asianwaste, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2If I'm going to pay $500 dollars for a gaming system, I might as well upgrade my PC and wait for the emulators to come out. Wii is going to fall into the same trap every friggin' Nintendo system falls into. That is no one but Nintendo will take advantage of the hardware. This is especially true since Nintendo has made the bold statement of "power and graphics does not make for good games." which is true but does not make for a long living system.

- DollaDollaBill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Same here. Wii is a paper weight. Metroid and mario better make up for it. Otherwise I love my PS3, tons a fun and the games are finally starting to ship. Don't own a 360 (yet) but I'm no halo fan and i have a PC for bioshock, etc. I'm sure some titles will come along to make me buy one eventually.

I hate Microsofts business practices (think Saddam Hussein of the IT world), but then again Sony ramping up the price of initial PS3s to £425 in the UK is astronomical. Dont buy PS3s or the next round of consoles will get ever more expensive as they think consumers will pay!
