- SkippyDoorknob, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8This case involved an original Xbox back in 2004
- miyamotofreak, on 10/10/2007, -5/+8"Microsoft is asking that the case be dismissed and that the Kline family pay the company's legal fees."
That's going even lower than Dick Cheney. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Way to go slamshut, you ***** retard.

Good, if they win the person suing should pay legal fees. Stops a lot of ***** lawsuits. - SlamShut, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Jigorokano and mhender, and anyone else digging me down and calling me a "***** retard"-- DO SOME ***** RESEARCH, *****. Read this article from earlier this year:
http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/26/faulty-xbox-kills-baby-microsoft-and-wal-mart-sued/
"It's interesting to note that the suit names an Xbox 360 as the culprit, though according to our records the 360 wasn't available in 2004."
Here's another article, naming the Xbox 360 in THIS SPECIFIC INCIDENT:
http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=39922
And here's another one:
http://infotech.indiatimes.com/Personal_Tech/Computing/Microsoft_Wal-Mart_=named_in_kids_death/articleshow/2074686.cms
From this article:
"The lawsuit claims that the fatal fire occurred in December 2004, even though the Xbox 360 didn't officially launch until May 2005..."
THIS IS A ***** LAWSUIT. This lawsuit was put together by a lawyer or group of lawyers that knows jack ***** about the Xbox console. What does that tell you? THAT IT'S A ***** LAWSUIT.
DO SOME ***** RESEARCH BEFORE YOU CALL ME STUPID, YOU ***** *****. - SlamShut, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2My heart goes out to the family, but this is obviously a ***** lawsuit. The complaint that was filed alleges that an Xbox 360 caused the fire in 2004, and that console wasn't even on the market yet. ***** lawsuit-- you can bet there's a crooked lawyer somewhere in this, pulling the strings.
- schestowitz, on 10/10/2007, -9/+3Vanity.
If only they recalled those units when they knew about the flaw (early 2006). But NO... they needed market share... quickly...
Now they run away from consequences.
