IGN Xbox 360 Gives Bioshock a 9.7, highest rated game for the 360

    Just because this has guns in it doesn't mean it needs to be the Halo-killer. Halo 3 will win in terms of sheer numbers, but editorial interest in Halo 3 over the last few months isn't exactly predicting it'll be Game of the Year. But still, if you want multiplayer, play Halo. If you want narrative, play Bioshock. Or, if you're like most people and like variety, play both. Both will be good on their own merits.

    Bioshock is the first game in my life I've pre-ordered, and System Shock 2 is my absolute favorite FPS game. I'm just saying I'm tired of the troll-comments...

  • stubadub, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5From what I saw in the demo, the Atlas Shrugged comparisons can only be applied to the backstory of why Andrew Ryan decided to start Rapture. It seems this game focuses on the aftermath after such a society falls apart. Are you going to say Grendel wasn't original because it's just Beowulf from another point of view?

    Besides, Atlast Shrugged: The Game seems like a pretty original idea for a video game to me, even if it would probably be boring as hell.
