- dekuscrub, on 11/24/2008, -10/+151I am of the opinion that a system is only as good as its games.
Well, the 360's games have been pretty darn good. I'm a happy customer. - inactive, on 11/23/2008, -10/+107Congrats to a great 3 years.
- scabbers, on 11/24/2008, -15/+107Is there a 3 year old xbox360 still working?
- EdwardMass, on 11/23/2008, -39/+115Happy Birthday, Xbox. I got you this red ring of death.
- jggube, on 11/23/2008, -11/+79I love my Xbox 360 baby - gonna buy Fallout 3 (finally) tonight as her present.
- XFLOP20, on 11/24/2008, -7/+65Somewhere,Kanye West is mad that it isn't his 3rd birthday.
- Sh0ck4, on 11/24/2008, -7/+59/waits for the flood of jokes about the red ring of death
- GoofyTooth, on 11/24/2008, -13/+63I can't believe i didn't get one sooner, puts everything else to shame. :D
- Bloodburn, on 11/24/2008, -7/+44Dude, 360 degrees is a full circle.
You mean 180 degrees... - d2002, on 11/24/2008, -8/+45Happy birthday!
P.S. I want my life back. (I keed, I keed). - inactive, on 11/24/2008, -3/+37Wow, that's age 108 in Xbox 360 years!
- 9enisP, on 11/24/2008, -16/+50Wow. Out of 3 Xbox 360's, I've never had one make it to its first birthday.
- FredFredrickson, on 11/24/2008, -0/+31I never owned an original Xbox, so I was pretty skeptical of the 360 - I felt that for Microsoft, the 360 was make-it-or-break-it time, and if the new console failed, it would mean the end of their involvement in the console market. About a year into it though, I ended up grabbing one on a whim, and it single-handedly rekindled my love for console games... and I hadn't been into consoles since the N64 before that.
It's been a fun time for the last few years, and my Xbox 360 is getting more use than ever with all the great games that have come out for it lately, like Gears 2 and Fable 2. I'm looking forward to what is in store for 2009, and can't wait to see what the next Xbox console will be like! - Jadhar, on 11/24/2008, -1/+31in summary: "***** you for not liking what i like"
- InfinitySnatch, on 11/24/2008, -1/+31It's actually a riddle. The answer is to turn 360 degrees and moonwalk the other way.
- Noliaboy75, on 11/24/2008, -1/+29The new xbox experience allows you to download the games to the hard drive so you don't need to spin the CD. Makes it much quieter. check it out, its awesome.
- shawnjohn, on 11/24/2008, -2/+25Mine is. Any of my red light issues have been due to my power cable not being in all of the way.
- mywhitenoise, on 11/24/2008, -2/+24And Kanye West still sells more albums than more deserving bands and artists. What a shame.
- cathpah, on 11/24/2008, -7/+29Hellz yeah. I'm invigtin Left 4 Dead and Fallout 3 for the birthday party!
***** glorious. - poordavey, on 11/24/2008, -0/+22Wow. You really make the gaming community look real good.
- Cheesasaurus, on 11/24/2008, -0/+18I'll break it up by saying I had a launch console, it broke, and I'm currently on my 3rd Xbox. But I know three or four people who had 360s since launch and they've never had problems.
- ronaldst, on 11/24/2008, -1/+19Are you sure about that?
- Dojjah, on 11/24/2008, -3/+21Make sure you put a piece of cake in the cd drive and then close it!
- lancert, on 11/24/2008, -0/+17I bought a Wii for my kids that sits unused next to my 360 which is on nearly 24/7, especially now with Netflix. Don't get me wrong, the Wii is fun...in short sessions. The 360 is the one that gets used the most.
Nintendo has done a great job generating market hysteria with their fake shortages which makes everyone think they need to have one... - Awla, on 11/24/2008, -6/+23Uh oh, 3 years already? Red light warranties are beginning to end now!
- elhaf, on 11/24/2008, -1/+18Which was three years ago for me. Thanks.
- savethejets, on 11/24/2008, -1/+17" is, it in yet?"
- hairyjim, on 11/24/2008, -4/+20All I'm waiting for now is the Xbox 720 and crossing my fingers the CD drive is quieter
- johnjeffrey, on 11/24/2008, -4/+20You will not be disapointed
- chazuk, on 11/24/2008, -0/+15Loving an inanimate object is wrong.
(Now..... Where's my fleshlight?) - timster, on 11/24/2008, -0/+15george bush does not care about black xboxes
- rockon4life45, on 11/24/2008, -7/+21Happy birthday Xbox 360. I looooooooooove you.
- Brutis, on 11/24/2008, -2/+16ah classic digg joke, I was looking for it in these comments and found it.
FYI it refers to some kid actually making this statement about the xbox in an old digg article. He was dead serious though. Now its a joke to say it. - BrokenVisage, on 11/24/2008, -7/+21"Let's bury you for being snooty about a legitimate problem!"
- latova, on 11/24/2008, -7/+21This is digg. You get dugg/buried based upon if people agree with you. Facts be damned.
Yesterday the Wii was the latest craze around here. Now it's the 360. Tomorrow it'll be the PS3 or something. Group mentality and fads are retarded. - Tophillious, on 11/24/2008, -1/+14It's a reference that was on digg awhile ago that said the same thing...
- atmclipse, on 11/24/2008, -0/+13Thats only for the red ring. Not so much for a busted DVD drive which is what I have.
- Postalwrker27, on 11/24/2008, -0/+12Go with Fallout. While Dead Space is a great game, I'd run with Fallout first. But then...I guess if you start playing Fallout you'll never get time for Dead Space. Hmm, I see your problem here.
- MRintheKeys, on 11/24/2008, -4/+16Launch day console still running like a champ.
- KazooDiver, on 11/24/2008, -2/+14They extended the warranty as a result of the failure rate... I had an original 360...that I won from the Pepsi 360 every 10 minute promotion, that in September of this year had got the red ring of death...Xbox replaced the 360 with in 1 week and gave me an extra month of xbox live. It took a week because of UPS.
- elhaf, on 11/24/2008, -1/+12Except stock.
- Noliaboy75, on 11/24/2008, -3/+14I will now go stream a netflix movie on it in celebration. Or play Duty for another four hours.....
- Jadhar, on 11/24/2008, -2/+13hopefully blu-ray! (which has slower read speeds -> quieter)
- elhaf, on 11/24/2008, -2/+13Netflix streaming rocks.
- natastna2, on 11/24/2008, -1/+11Are you ***** mad?
- CharlesSaint, on 11/24/2008, -0/+10No sir, ***** you.
- apothekari, on 11/24/2008, -2/+12I dunno why you're getting dugg down.
I have LOVED Fallout 3 so far, And YES I played all the Fallouts.
Turn based Japan style RPG's just don't cut it with me anymore.
Free roaming Morrowind style sandbox is SO much more Immersive to me. - harrisbradley, on 11/24/2008, -1/+11Happy Birthday buddy. Not many things have gotten cheaper in the last 3 years.
- scaryaaron, on 11/24/2008, -0/+10The sad part about the Wii, even in all of its harware sales glory, FAILS with attach rate for software purchases. Give me a wand and my Wii hits Ebay!
