I've seen Burnout Paradise evolve drastically before my eyes through DLC....for no charge. Halo 3, finished the story arc, but left room for continuation with that awful awful Lengendary ending....Plus the fact that Microsoft's Xbox Live Achievement rules allow for 250 extra points for expansion packs...and Bungie recently announced new achievements to the sum of 250 points. AND Bungie already detailed a multiplayer/bungie.net update (TU 2).... Not to mention an almost-ARG Keep It Clean (that usually accompanies new Halo releases) being of a significantly smaller proportion than Cortana conversations, I Love Bees, IRIS.

There is no way to know if it is a reboot of that series, but that was an awesome story line, and the gameplay was incredible.
