Call me a math major, but I don't think "permutations" is another word for "possibilities." Take a random poker hand for example. If you are dealt 5 cards, that is a single permutation. BUT, when you rearrange the order of the cards you're holding, you've created a different permutation, even though you still have the same "combination" of cards.
You call a possibility a "permutation" only when the order of arrangement is important. Since the order at which you choose your armor variants is irrelevant, there are 187,947,000 combinations, not permutations. - mhuggins, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No.
