Really, it's just obvious they never actually played a game of it, let alone a game with a bunch of their friends. Halo in it self really is a great game, and while I don't particularly like Halo 3 as compared to 2, it is still a good game.

- dyranios2, on 11/02/2007, -2/+10No it isn't, the level design is much more enclosed even in these pseudo "open environments" . Remember the Silent Cartographer? Assault on the Control Room? No Halo2/3 equivalent. Poor weapon and vehicle placement also means that players are force to adopt a strategy on a level rather then choose their own vehicle/gun set up to suit their preference.

- 4ork, on 11/02/2007, -0/+7It was fun, yes, but also over-powered. With a good vantage point, you could easily take down someone in a tank with the pistol in a few shots. Personally I thought it needed to be nerfed for more fair gameplay but I do agree that they went a little overboard with it; in Halo 2 you could kill a tank quicker with a squirt gun trying to make it rust to death.
