- razmig, on 10/10/2007, -3/+329from the forum: "I guess microsoft really does screw people over."/
"and people wonder why i complain about big *** companies like microsoft that do not care about their customers, only money"
you basically stole a game before release date, tried to play it on their live service, got banned, and are now complaining?
these kids are idiots. - scrimaxinc, on 10/10/2007, -5/+281I got arrested for buying gum today! I mean, I shot four people yesterday, but I got arrested today! I WAS JUST BUYING GUM!!!!!11!!!!!!1!!!!!!
- justice7, on 10/10/2007, -47/+237they get what they deserve
as does anyone else who mods their xbox360 and tries to play on Live. I pay a lot of money to legitimately play games on my 360 -- those of you cheating the system are doing nothing more than raising the cost of my gaming.
Enjoy buying a new xbox! - badjoke, on 10/10/2007, -16/+127God, how old are you, Vincent3000? You remind me of those 13 year olds that play counterstrike.
- AntBing, on 10/10/2007, -9/+116How about we digg you a ***** hole.
- logicalnoise, on 10/10/2007, -2/+99That reminds me I need to prepare for the big Y10k

This link will bring you to them realizing why they got banned, they thought it was from updating UNO.... UNO.... LMFAO
(start reading from the 6th post) - Crosshare, on 10/10/2007, -4/+97Buried as Inaccurate: He can play again Jan 1st, 10,000
*he may have to be a head in a jar - dubbaj, on 10/10/2007, -3/+84Wait a second, are you telling me that in the year 9999 we're going to have 21 months?!
I think that's the real story here. - smart1979, on 10/10/2007, -8/+81Anyone else sick to death of seeing "FTW" ?
- elvenseven, on 10/10/2007, -5/+64The year he's banned is over 9000...
- InetRoadkill, on 10/10/2007, -5/+63You're going to paying out the nose with or without people hacking the xbox.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/10/2007, -1/+56It's not so bad... within 25 years, the 360 platform will be completely emulated and he'll be able to download the Halo 3 disk image off of a retro-gaming site, and play it on his Intel Giga-Core PC.
- WolverineBlue, on 10/10/2007, -1/+53He'll have a kickin' New Year's 10000 halo party.
- LithiumGreen, on 10/10/2007, -12/+61Blog spam.
- scrimaxinc, on 10/10/2007, -6/+52Brilliant.
- dyreschlock, on 10/10/2007, -3/+49Say bye bye to that 61k gamer score. haha
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -2/+45Banhammer!
- Seidoger, on 10/10/2007, -2/+45Bet he can't wait for January 1st 10000
- Zippo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+42It's not that bad... he only has to wait another 7,992 years.
- wes00mertes, on 10/10/2007, -1/+41Indeed. You probably thought the same thing when you posted the article.
- defectDS, on 10/10/2007, -0/+38Technically he is, as Vincent submitted the story.
- teamparadox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+37The best part of that forum thread is once they figure out they were banned for playing Halo3 they say they are going to call MS. I could only imagine that phone call...
"Hello i was banned because I played an illegal copy of Halo 3 on Live, what the hell is wrong with you people!?" -guy
"Hmm yes it seems that way, let me transfer you to our legal dept" -xbox support
"Alright that sounds more like it, i want this fixed right friggen now!" -guy
I mean how stupid do you need to be, if you did somehow get your hands on an illegal copy of the game, why in gods name would you play it while connected to Live!? - thebigdripper, on 10/10/2007, -3/+38how are they raising the cost of your gaming? ya, i'm sure if nobody cheated the system, they'd just lower all their prices. yup.
- peeinian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+35I like how he says he will be calling Microsoft. To tell them what? I stole your game and wanted to play it online, what's the big deal? Someone please ask this moron to record the conversation so we can all listen to it later.
- SnuKs, on 10/10/2007, -5/+39It's funny because I can imagine these kids thought they were hot *****. Sorry, but you just go a dick up your ass.
- meez, on 10/10/2007, -8/+41It's a neverending circle. They raise the cost of games because of piracy, and then more people are tempted to pirate. Then they raise the prices again citing piracy, and then it tempts even more people to piracy. I'd probably buy a lot more games if they were either cheaper, or actually worth that money they charge. These days I end up torrenting with the intention to buy, only to find out the game actually sucks.
- cyberscape2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29I believe the "12/31/9999" you mentioned is known, in scientific circles, as a big "***** you".
- arsheroica, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29He's going to party like it's 9999!
- mfpratte, on 10/10/2007, -0/+28either that or cryogenically freeze himself till new years eve 9999
- Russomd, on 10/10/2007, -10/+37They got what they deserved, Good Job Microsoft Keep XBL CLEAN FTW!
- Ub3rg33k, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26"Do you think they would ban my console because I played halo 3 epsilon yesterday?
no they wouldnt because i didnt get banned till today while uno was trying to update"
"i also played the epsilon yesterday.... so thats probably it... is your live account suspended till 9999 also like mine? "
How brain dead are these kids? Not only did they do something they knew was wrong, but then admit to it publicly and then think they're going bitch to MS about how its unfair.
And people wonder why I don't like online multiplayer games...
- xino, on 10/10/2007, -0/+25I totally agree. I am a huge Halo multi-player fan, but there are more ***** in that game than any other game I played online. The other day I lost a game in Halo 2 and in the post game lobby, an opponent told me that I wasted my money on Xbox because I lost the game. WTF?
- WraithTDK, on 10/10/2007, -5/+28O.k., children, what's rule #1 of the underground software scene? That's right, "never attempt to register." What's rule #2? That's right "attempt to update or use online functions at your own risk." It would be massively hypocritical of me to get pissed at this guys for getting their hands on an advance copy of Halo 3; but trying to play it online? Come on!
- worldsbestgamer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24Live would be a better place without a lot of the Halo fans. I am sure the game will be great, but I have no doubt the majority of the people you run into on Live won't be.
- oldhick, on 10/10/2007, -3/+24Its a ***** game, not the cure for cancer. So what if it gets leaked? I guess they expect you to be a ***** adult and not violate your terms of use that you agreed to when you bought the 360... Just one guess...
- crushfan, on 10/10/2007, -2/+21Salvation: http://www.tetris1d.org/
- seventoes, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19Quantum computing. Screw x-core processors.
- FredFredrickson, on 10/10/2007, -3/+22One of those banned accounts had 61,000 achievement points... haha, hope it was worth it!
- venom8599, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20Science be praised!
- stevealford, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18You don't THINK they will... but they might.
- GMorgan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17I intend to live forever but I'd accept a few thousand years.
- Mist0r_Wiggles, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16ah you know how ***** works, they add in a couple month every few thousand years. At least thats what history tells me.
- mookiemookie, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17Isn't that when all of the permabans for ***** the world over expire, and they're unleashed back upon the internet at once?
- djphatjive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Why play it at all. I mean if they got an achievement, that would upload to live when the signed on next. They are total idiots.
- Charlotte_Web, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18solution: readabookinstead.com
- andnever, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15everyone here doesnt seem to get what happend, he didnt have a stolen copy of the game and tried to play it online. he used a glitch in the live service where you can recover someones account and then download something (like the halo 3 epilson closed bungie employee beta) to your hardware and play it with your account.
- AndyVenus, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17I would say a few thousand years is a lifetime. But good luck to the guy if he plans to wait.
