Also pretty sure PS3's fail rate is around 10%, which is still far better than Microsoft's abysmal 54%, so why exaggerate with such a ***** statistic like less than 1%? And despite the hardware issues, that doesn't change the fact that the 360 is generally the place to be when it comes to downloadable content - GTA4, Fallout 3, etc. Those are pretty big incentives when it comes to throwing down $60 on a game. - rhinofinger, on 09/02/2009, -1/+12Yeah, I know what you mean. Oh for *****'s sake. Yeah, poor little Sony, one of the six largest media companies on the planet, they just can't compete with Microsoft! Yeah, right. And Nintendo is currently sitting pretty, having completely dominated this round of the console war, selling damn near double the amount of consoles as each of their competitors and turning a profit on every single one. All companies are in business for one reason - profit. So let's not act like Sony is some angelic company (again, look at Batman) that wouldn't pay for an exclusive, they just weren't willing to throw the money out for this episodic content and as a result, the 360 version sold more copies.
What hurt Sony this time around was their price and the fact they were late to the party and when they showed up, they weren't counting on the jaw-dropping success of the Wii. Yeah, you can talk about how you have to pay for Xbox Live or WiFi and all that, but it doesn't change the fact that the PS3 caused sticker shock for consumers. Seriously, Sony has no one to blame for their current situation but themselves, after 15 years of dominating the gaming market, they lost their lead to a company that people thought would go the way of Sega, and another company whose console has a 50% fail rate. - Arkz, on 09/02/2009, -0/+10I wondered where all the things that were in SA and missing from GTA4 were, now i see, they planned to sell us these missing bits afterwards.. nice..

Sure, it didn't quite have the same "heft" as the main story of GTA IV, and some of the missions could have used some more refinement, but just being able to return to Liberty City again was like a homecoming of sorts. Now with Gay Tony, we'll do it again. Can't ***** wait.
