This is a bold move that is no doubt inspired by Transformers and fueled by the upcoming trike. I pray to the gods of taste and talent this doesn't end terribly, but my gut feeling says "NO!!!".

I was massively impressed with the art direction in gears. you have the remanants of a decaying civilization under brutal attack, you've got the emulsion pits that set an eerie set on things, and along with walking along the factory.. that was scary stuff, and the immersion from the art was fantastic, in my opinion.

    I was more impressed with the engine than the art direction in Gears, in any case. Unless Thundercats is supposed to be a grey, monotone, wasteland I don't see how this is a good match.
