- NixiePixel, on 11/09/2008, -3/+53This is a great, addictive game. Better than the original. I was trying to concentrate on Fallout 3 and get some thoughts typed out about it, but GoW2 has surprised me and I can't stop playing it now.
I disagree with the poster above, the graphics to me seem improved, the matchmaking while taking longer than in GoW is better in many other respects, and the large levels with hiding spots along with weapon changes and slower gameplay make for a more tactical game, as opposed to twitch gaming (which of course appeals to a certain demographic)...but is still sufficiently fast-paced to make for (literally) nail-biting action. - donte, on 11/09/2008, -1/+51Better than feeding an actual crack habit -- you're a good parent :)

Some of my best memories from childhood are playing Super Mario or F-Zero with my dad when it was -20 outside and everyone was cooped up inside. F-Zero music on a big ass stereo was unreal at the time.

- wontstoptalking, on 11/09/2008, -5/+16Yeah, I realized that too. I now have to wonder how many Halo 3s would have sold if the whole Halo franchise had been on all systems the whole time, or if GTA4 sold exclusively on the 360. I mean, just to see who would win.
And regardless of sales, I still see a lot more Halo 3 player on my friends list than I do GTAIV players. Though the day it came out, my friends list looked like this:

Well, let me finish with this: I can't wait for the new Xbox Experience! - AzzidReign, on 11/09/2008, -8/+19Really surprised me. Ever since Gears of War 2 was announced all I've been thinking was "Stupid overhyped, overrated, sequel to an overhyped, overrated original".
What do you know? The campaign is absolutely amazing this time around, and probably has some of the best level design I have ever seen in ages. While it's no MGS title, there is a lot of emotional depth this time around, especially in Dom's search for his wife. I can't believe how much I cared about those stereotypical ***** characters, but I did. Excellent game, and it probably is up there with Bioshock as the top single player experience on the Xbox 360. Oh, and the game is simply stunning for a console.
Now if they could just fix the multiplayer with a patch.... - InfernoX, on 11/09/2008, -2/+13I don't know why people are digging you down, that was a nice reference to Epic's whining about UT3 and GoW PC piracy.

- inactive, on 11/09/2008, -0/+10I got pissed off when I discovered the level cap and also beating the game earlier than expected. Was hoping I had another 5-10 levels to go through and a bunch more quests to beat while I was at it.
I'm now going attempting to explore all the areas that I haven't touched yet. -
