          And 100% of staten island isn't even the game. Staten Island should be in it before the Bronx, unless they wanted basically every single area to be the same.

Yes, it's populated by cops and mobsters, but they move there for the quiet and do their actual business elsewhere. An accurate recreation would be uniquely unsuited to a GTA type game.

FYI its the only borough in which crime is goign UP overall instead of down. So you don't want an area that has urban, suburban, rural, parklands, etc... you just want city.. and city.. and city.. and city.. and city...

          Someone has alot to learn about Staten Island, and also needs to watch the Soprano's as far as things done in those little suburban communites and parklands (though in that case its NJ). Is it a genuinely peaceful area? Yea it is... but it deserves to be in the game more so then Bronx and Queens, which are just basically going to be copies of the more urban areas of brooklyn and manhattan.

I assume a port is already in there in NJ, and the NJ port is much larger... but there really is no need for jersey at all. Staten Island has the seaport... theres a smaller one in Redhook Brooklyn... 2 airports in city... so why even have Jersey at all? And if yo do, again... Staten island has 3 bridges to various parts of NJ... another reason to put it in, to make travel easier...

            Honestly, I haven't been there in 10 years. At the time, I was visiting my uncle, who is a retired police captain. We stopped talking to him because we discovered a prominently displayed portrait of Hitler in his office during the house tour, and he used the n-word about thirty times during the Thanksgiving game. He disowned his daughter for marrying an Asian man the following year.

            The point is, nobody worth knowing lives in Staten Island, and it does not deserve to be considered as part of New York. Nobody wants to play a game containing a recreation of Staten Island. Nobody would object or notice if Staten Island were erased from the maps and the history books, and a viral plague were unleashed upon the island.

            I say this even with the full awareness that New Jersey appears in this game.

You do realize that most of the yankees and mets live on Staten Island... So if your a baseball fan that just ends your arguement right there. That many famous actors, musicians, writers, politicians, etc througouth history have lived or still live here... Joan Baez, Christina Aguilera, Paul Newman, Madonna, Henry David Thoreuah, hell the Vanderbilts... That it is the fastest growing of all the boros... that major motion pictures are being filmed here at an almost constant basis... (Including both an independent film and major motion picture CALLED Staten Island which is coming out this year or next year)

            Also guess what... if Staten Island was erased from history odds are the revolutionary war would go on a helluva lot logner since many peace talks went on at the conference house.

            And its also twice the size of manhattan... That its home to the 4th largest broadwalk in the world.. That the south shore staten island hospital is one of the leading heart surgery and research hospitals IN THE WORLD and where they took George Harrison before he passed because of that.

            PLUS WU-TANG CLAN REPRESENT SHAOLIN YO!

            I mean man oh man you proved yourself as ignorant as rockstar. Staten Island is a much bigger deal then it was 10 years ago. And I repeat.. It should be in the game BEFORE the bronx and queens.

      They are improving control and animations, giving NPCs more life and character, creating a much more realistic environment, adding massive multiplayer .. And the machine isn't nearly the same, they are using Euphoria and RAGE.

      And considering the graphics have always been a weak point in GTA, the visuals are actually making a huge surge here.

      GTA ain't everyone's cup, but I can't see arguing that they're not innovating the game.

So plan was eventually to get last October, then it was pushed back... but had a coupon to get it for $70 cheaper back in November and glad I did, so I had time to play the great games that came out around then (COD4 personal fave) and before then like Bioshock. If I waited till April odds are I woudl never have played any of those games, especailly the single player ones.

Sony bitched and bitched until they decided to port it over to the PS3. this game would have been out last October if it wasn't for that, but the PS3 is so hard to make games that they pushed the release date back to have a both platforms released at the same time.
