- Bricks, on 10/10/2007, -4/+57Now 13 year olds on xbox live can send hatespeech text messages with 60% increased efficiency!
- JohnDavis730, on 10/10/2007, -4/+54That thing is going to get really greasy from all the funyuns and hot pockets when halo 3 comes out.
- QuorumCall, on 10/10/2007, -0/+40FTA "The new headset features a simple audio connector, with the mute and volume switch located on the wire itself - much more user friendly, and it looks better too."
I don't understand how going from moving your thumb one inch to make an adjustment is less user friendly than having to now move your whole hand off of the controller to where ever the volume/mute button/dial happens to be dangling. - Stonedonkey, on 10/10/2007, -2/+42Direct link to the gallery: http://www.gearlive.com/thegallery/category/C43/
- zyklon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26Microsoft: Making it easier to spend your entire life in one seat.
- ventro, on 10/10/2007, -5/+23That actually looks pretty good. GJ MSFT!
- ErinIsADrunk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15does anyone actually do any excessive typing on their 360? If I'm going to use MSN I'm going to use it on my computer not my 360 and I don't send very many messages over XBL and if I do I just use voice messages.
it looks really slick and seems like its functional and handy if you do like to use MSN or send lots of messages via XBL. - AUmrysh, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11But funyuns taste so good...
- wallryan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10i love how it looks when its backlit
- unched, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11FUK U SHT HED
- smurf22, on 10/10/2007, -5/+14It looks like ill hit 7 keys at the same time...
- Nin10dude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Probably because if it were a Nintendo keyboard, it would be coupled with the fact that we could actually start communicating with people during games.
- DMDekoth, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Works with MSN Messanger! Unless you're under 18 or were when you signed up!
- Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8I thought you said MGS.
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Can you use it as a seat?
- andru, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Yeah, the backlighting thing is awesome.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Progress, to be sure
- SPARTACVS, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6But then if you get a bunch of hard achievements and your hard drive phails, you'll have to get them again because they weren't auto recorded to xbox live. Just stay online, but set your presence to "appear offline".
- andru, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5The headset has a new connector, as well as a new volume and mute switch that can clip on to your clothing.
- Ajajadude, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7But, how much?!
And I don't see how that head set is any better looking... - bradlovespie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I remember reading that it will run about $29.99.
- andru, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5When Halo 3 comes out, just use the voice comm :P
- hassanchop13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4eat bagel bites instead. grab them from the bottom and your hands will be clean :)
- packetstorm, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Uh...Can I have one in Black please?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Thank god for that.
I'll be damned if I have to type messages to people with the game controller... - MikeWanDo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4My headset has never had that problem. Besides wouldn't it be better to just fix the old system than go to a new system that's less user friendly?
- andru, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3There are actually going to be a couple of games dropping soon that let you type on screen to those you are playing with.
- Scatropolis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Well you'll have to wait for the Surface to come out before you can do that.
- SlappyMc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I'm getting visions of Whiskey Nerd
- Manuelmty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3the Tumbler?
or the messenger kit? - MikeWanDo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I rather liked the old one where I could just flick it with my thumb. Guess I'll stick with my old one.
- BillDoE, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I liked the convenience of using my thumb on the mute but it was junk and shorted out regularly. I went through three of them before I got a wireless headset.
- Rukaribe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Now my only question is: Will it be available in black?
- specialK16, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Wait what the *****? So, I was like 12 when I made my current email account, so now I have to make a new account and re-add all my contacts because MS somehow can't make the thing calculate my actual age?
- OwlBoy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You can already plug in a USB keyboard. If there was gonna be spam, it would already be there.
- markwilcox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2When Halo 3 comes out, you won't be on live incase someone spoils the ending for you. It'll be a weekend locked in a room with no internet, just you, halo 3, your xbox and your tv.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+6...Why is it that people are already pointing out all the flaws, just from seeing a bunch of pictures on the internet? If it was a Nintendo keyboard, the reaction would be completely different.
- dandonia, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2oh man i completely forgot halo achievments. Cooooooooool!!! Race to 50 i got my muney on the jammyjt
- mikeyeah, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Does anyone know if a Elite (black) version of this will be available?
- ryanwarnersteel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Ok...I never knew there was a show dedicated to letting you watch someone open *****... and he pauses to let you savor the moment... seriously wtf, a new level of lameness.
- ryrysofly, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Will it let us change our s/n as well, because it still only has the option of using one i signed up with xboxlive for, which was about 2 years ago :( I've changed since then and so has my e-mail!!! why don't you understand MS!
- wafflesomd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Does anyone remember that huge PS2/keyboard for the everquest game for ps2?
- digitul, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1there are seriously some idiots on this site. please tell me that all you people bitching are just doing so to be a pain and aren't actually seriously about the dumb ass comments you're making. "OMG teh kleyburd si too smnall!!1" "here comes the spam!!" seriously wtf?
- Coffeedemon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Looks bigger than a Blackberry keypad so unless you have big ol' ham-hands you should be ok. I'm personally just happy they had the sense to go with QWERTY instead of arranging keys alphabetically like the on screen keypad.
- blackprizm, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I hope it comes with instructions on how to use it when my Xbox is out for repairs. AGAIN
- madoc12349, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Is my dashboard running on Windows 95?
- freakout1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Whoa, I didn't know the keys where backlit, that's pretty badass
- Comanche, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If you don't know what its used for, don't buy it.
- brownr21, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You look like a useless POS
- dandonia, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I keep wondering why dont they let you use the phone feature built into windows live messanger to talk to your friends via a headset on xbox it would be far better than having the text thing on the screen. PC mics are like a 5er and most new laptops come with one it would be far better for us all.
