- inactive, on 10/24/2008, -1/+187I got married and my damn wife kept following me around everywhere, but luckily when I was questing she got killed.
Fable 2 is pretty cool as well. - Kbriggs, on 10/23/2008, -9/+138Dugg for Fallout 3.
- freebird4, on 10/23/2008, -7/+86its first day*
I made an elementary grammatical mistake. :( - nattybohman, on 10/24/2008, -2/+61Found a few bugs, but nothing terrible. So far, I'm hooked. It feels very similar to the first one.
Hopefully I won't get stuck completing any of the quests and give up halfway through like I did last time.
One thing I never liked about these games is that if you choose to be evil your character gets ugly and pale. In the last one they even had flies circle the evil characters. It's a real deterrent from playing the evil role.
I know several evil people and they're all pretty decent looking and some even have tans. - JonTheGoose, on 10/24/2008, -0/+53"OW 'BOOT A RING FER MOI FINGAR, AYE?!"
- LimeParrot, on 10/24/2008, -1/+48ROFL
That twist was worthy of an M Night Shamylamylananaman movie.
(***** you, yeah you know you are, don't even think about pressing "Save Reply", I was too lazy to look up the spelling.) - TomFrost, on 10/24/2008, -0/+44"I know several evil people and they're all pretty decent looking and some even have tans."
This totally made my morning ;-) - kinseyincanada, on 10/24/2008, -1/+41look at the thumnail.
- inajeep, on 10/23/2008, -4/+39Great game but it does have some flaws/bugs. Not enough to spoil my fun yet but I'm early into it. It's one of the few games I don't mind paying $60 for.
- Slade605, on 10/24/2008, -2/+36IT'S A JOKE ABOUT HOW HE KILLED HIS RL WIFE ON THE WAY TO GET MEDICINE FOR THE VILLAGE, AND HE ALSO PLAYS FABLE II.
- TMTurtle, on 10/24/2008, -4/+38Oooh, you pirated. You're sooo cool.
What a rebel. - taylorblue, on 10/23/2008, -11/+39 I loved Fable 1 so I'm not surprised at all... :)
- ayeroxor, on 10/24/2008, -1/+27"Grammer Nazis don't exist on the internet. "
Nope, but GRAMMAR Nazis do. - staffell, on 10/24/2008, -2/+28Dugg for Vault Boy
- jer21, on 10/24/2008, -0/+21Lol...Use the "Dismiss" gesture on your RL wife, see how well that goes.
- Freshjive787, on 10/24/2008, -1/+22speak for yourself man, i can nerd it up whenever i feel the urge and im not having any trouble with the ladies. i think youre just voicing your insecurities because you havnt had the chance to play fable or the chance to get laid.
- ninjadave, on 10/24/2008, -1/+19This and Dead Space are on my short list.
- devonkeale, on 10/24/2008, -3/+20I came here to digg you down. But instead I'm happy to see you caught it before any of us grammar nazis did. Congratulations.
- Smurph0404, on 10/24/2008, -3/+20When does the PC version come out?
- InfernoX, on 10/24/2008, -1/+16If you turned 360 degrees you'd still be walking directly at it.
- crsd36, on 10/24/2008, -1/+15Dugg for calling yourself out
- primaldefense, on 10/24/2008, -1/+14Hey that is not necessarily true. Don't be hating just cause you don't get any.
- bitsculptor, on 10/24/2008, -4/+16I picked it up today. Loving it so far. It's unfortunate it'll probably have to take a backseat once Fallout 3 lands next week. :)
- inactive, on 10/24/2008, -6/+17on digg it's it's
- pfhayter, on 10/24/2008, -1/+12Fable II is good, Fallout 3 better be better. I'm not sure why they put a Pip-Boy icon for the article though.
/confused - medfreak, on 10/24/2008, -1/+12I am a PC gamer, and I don't know what the hell you are talking about. There were tons of great RPGs on the PC, but not many in recent memory. The only ones I can think of is Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, and The Witcher. Mass Effect was a very bland in my opinion.
What other good RPGs are you talking about? - frisbeeman, on 10/24/2008, -1/+12I was going to point out that 360 degrees puts you still looking at the xbox, but then I got an image of Michael Jackson approaching and xbox, spinning around and moon walking away from it, so I suppose I won't have to digg you down now since I got some lulz out of it
- AlrightForNow, on 10/24/2008, -0/+10Dugg despite me having a PS3 and NOT an 360...:(
- FreddieD, on 10/24/2008, -0/+10Good call. With foreclosures at an all time high in today's economy, the villa would probably be a bit too risky.
- inactive, on 10/24/2008, -1/+11awwwkward
- Slade605, on 10/24/2008, -1/+10Aren't you "suppoesd" to be in school?
- KSUdesigner, on 10/24/2008, -1/+10Well I was playing last night and got laid twice, even had a baby. Oh wait, you meant in real life. Yeah probably true.
- Cerialthriller, on 10/24/2008, -0/+9***** epic fail on my part
- ericrous, on 10/24/2008, -0/+9On a related note, do you want to know how your mother got the nickname "Bucket"?
- 8bitflu, on 10/24/2008, -1/+8::Crickets::: Backs out of room
- BN2L, on 10/24/2008, -0/+7I have fable 2 unopened, too busy enjoying Far Cry 2.
- khuongsta, on 10/24/2008, -3/+10u can do anything in this game.
i slept with the famer's wife in his own bed, and his daughter came in, visably upset, i tried to get a threesome going (yes you can have threesome's in Fable 2, gay or straight) but you can't have sex with little girls - pedobear.gif
be sure to buy condoms, STD's exist in the game - mxk21, on 10/24/2008, -3/+10I picked this up on Tuesday based on all the hype it was getting. I never played the first one so I didn't really know what to expect. I've been playing it the past few nights though, and while it is fun, I don't think its really my kind of game. I like a lot of the concepts in it (reputation and different XP pools based on how you play to name a few), but the game itself is just a bit too cartoon-ish for me. I prefer the more realistic (and I use that word loosely) RPGs like Oblivion and Mass Effect. Its still an entertaining game, and maybe it will grow on me more over time, but so far it just doesn't have the pull/appeal for me like Oblivion or Mass Effect.
- Sirocco, on 10/24/2008, -1/+8It's Fable, people. You'll be through with it in a few days. Enjoyable, but typically short.
- quentinp, on 10/24/2008, -0/+7Great game so far, I've really been enjoying it. I got an upperclass, noblewoman for a wife..then moved her into the gypsy cart (like a trailer park hehe), with an allowance of $25 gold hehe. We'll see how long she lasts. Sure I could move her into the country villa, but I'm not willing to give up the rent from that place >:)
- ninjadave, on 10/24/2008, -1/+8Just go back to playing Madden.
- FreddieD, on 10/24/2008, -0/+7In all fairness, Fable 2 did a better job this time around of giving you the feeling that you are able to explore and do more of whatever you want instead of have to follow one main storyline.
Farts, however, still exist. - inactive, on 10/24/2008, -0/+7So how long will I have to wait for the PC version?
- tibbon, on 10/24/2008, -1/+8Who the hell thought to put a Fallout3 pic instead of a fable2 one?
- yellowfish04, on 10/24/2008, -2/+9oh ***** you...really??
- Prathik89, on 10/25/2008, -0/+6Wow PC gamers sure can be dicks.
- Iggins, on 10/24/2008, -0/+6Yeah, I won't be getting any 'cause my girlfriend likes fable more than I do!
- medfreak, on 10/24/2008, -1/+7I think the only game remotely close to that figure was GTA IV.
- Rhendal, on 10/24/2008, -0/+6That was a riveting story.
- Digibull, on 10/24/2008, -0/+6The online co-op patch is already out.
