E3 2008: No Halo Blue Announcement...what is Bungie up to?
360.kombo.com — After the Microsoft conference I expected to have a Halo announcement. Nothing came up. I went to the Bungie home page and saw a large version of what you see above. Any theories on this one? Pardon are dust? Don't Panic? Announcement???? (pic within)

- M724, on 07/14/2008, -1/+2This only supports my theory that Bungie may be announcing a new game on the PS3. Maybe this will counterbalance Final Fantasy 13's new multiplatform status and the loss of Sony's exclusivity to it.
- shadokast, on 07/14/2008, -1/+1Bungie is owned by Microsoft. Why would they do that?
- vkny88, on 07/14/2008, -0/+1Not any more, check on that..
- M724, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1I was speaking hypothetically.

- ThirdMarioBro, on 07/14/2008, -0/+2Microsoft is probably holding onto whatever Bungie is hiding for the same reason Nintendo held onto Smash Bros. in 2006 and the same reason they held onto the WiiMotion+ this morning. It makes good mid-show one-uppage material.
- vkny88, on 07/14/2008, -1/+1I think it could be Halo 3 for PS3. Or as M724 said a new game for PS3 and 360?
Guess will have to wait and see till 1 day 15 hours and 33 mins, according to Bungie's site right now? - CollapseControl, on 07/15/2008, -1/+1Why exactly would Bungie be pushing or announcing a new title when Halo 3 came out under 1 year ago? Seems a little early to be getting a hype train going for a title that won't launch until late 2009 to late 2010.
