  • strictnein, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Their system is, supposedly, a little more complex than CS's system of "This special wall can be shot through, but all the other walls are, for some reason, two feet thick and cannot be shot through".
    I think they are actually modeling the penetration ability of each shot based upon round type and gun.

  • Brutus013, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Ok, guys, where does it say no MP for PC? IT doesn't say that anywhere. There will be MP on all versions, the beta is just an Xbox 360 exclusive. The PC version won't be gimped, and how you get that assumption from the fact the 360 has the beta is beyond me. Think people, think. Call of Duty 2 was multiplatform and sucked in no way whatsoever.

Guess I won't be buying this and the 7-10 gaming buddies I have, who usually rely on me for good gaming purchase suggestions won't be either. Vote with your wallet, people, embrace the companies who make PC-centric titles not cross-platform drivel (see: Shadowrun, for one example).

  • Brutus013, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Shadowrun was made by a crappy developer. This game is made by the same people who made Call of Duty 2. Call of Duty 2 was multiplatform, and it didn't suck at all. The PC version won't be gimped, and I don't know how you got that assumption from the fact the 360 gets the beta. It makes no sense. Just because a game is multiplatform doesn't mean it sucks.

    I guess it's a smart decision, after all CoD is known for it's single player more than it's MP. (They ***** up CoD:1 MP with patch 1.1 IMO)
