- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -1/+51I saw the title and thought "jesus 2010" then i realized its less than half a year away. I think my head is still stuck back in the 90s.
- preppypoof, on 07/15/2009, -1/+42would you kindly...?
- goldenhearted, on 07/15/2009, -1/+42While I'm excited for the sequel, I don't mind the delay. It's one less game to worry about in the upcoming gaming rush later this year. I mean, last year's was crazy: http://penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/10/31/
And as Miyamoto said: "a delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever." - MarkBrent, on 07/15/2009, -6/+44FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
- RoroCo, on 07/15/2009, -2/+32Mr Bubbles???
- matthewkg, on 07/16/2009, -1/+27.....release this sooner.
- stoanhart, on 07/16/2009, -1/+21Take all the time you need to do it right.
- danreeves, on 07/16/2009, -1/+16FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEE sounds really good right now....
- MonkeyNews, on 07/16/2009, -2/+17"a delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever."
This means Duke Nukem Forever would have been the greatest game in the history of mankind. - staticneuron, on 07/16/2009, -0/+14Remember those movies in the 80's and 90's where we were supposed to have flying cars by now! When are we going to get that explosion of technology and production?
According to "Back to the Future pat II" 2015 is going to be awesome. - JoeHague, on 07/16/2009, -1/+14OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
- TriNiiTy, on 07/16/2009, -3/+15.....beat me with a golf club.
- Scrappy1850, on 07/16/2009, -1/+13spoiler alert
- Calamier, on 07/15/2009, -1/+12Just make it good!
- danreeves, on 07/16/2009, -1/+10I'll just play the first one again in anticipation. Such a great game
- IronPwnage, on 07/16/2009, -1/+10GAWDAMN SPLOICERS!
- Jsoul87, on 07/16/2009, -1/+8Not too worried, this is still the only game that ever caught me completely off-guard with a plot twist. The whole "would you kindly" revelation blew my mind.
- TobiasParker, on 07/16/2009, -2/+9FuFudge? is that like Wu-Tang financial?
rappers diversifying....damn. - thejimmybug, on 07/16/2009, -2/+8Not a problem. Whatever it takes to make the perfect game to follow up one of the greatest games of all time.
- squishee, on 07/16/2009, -1/+7They need another year's worth of ADAM.
- gcauthon, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6Yeah, that whole 10-15 seconds where all you had was a wrench was the most exciting part of the game... /s
- ShadySpace, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6....play Boom Blox with me?
- theaceoffire, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4Is anyone else worried about this game?
You start off as a Big Daddy (All powerful), which makes it hard to feel scared like in the first one... and the whole game *seems* to be an escort mission (Protect the little sisters!)
I hope it isn't like that when it comes out, because being terrified with no ammo and a wrench is part of what I loved in the first one. - blazewide, on 07/20/2009, -0/+3link is broken, tried on 2 different computers
- jholden42, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3This is great news. Better to push a game back and make sure it's fully polished and done than to rush it and shove it out the door by a preset date regardless of whether or not it's ready.
- mashedup, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3i could murder a curry and chips me.
- TriNiiTy, on 07/16/2009, -1/+3This is a good thing. So many good games coming out this holiday season. Not only does it free up time to play the others but it saves money.
- insaniakq, on 07/16/2009, -0/+2i like that they pushed it back because like most people are saying it gives them extra dev time to put to good use. i just like to think of the reaction fans of some other game would have... imagine if they pushed back MW2 people would be flipping out.
- ZurMacht, on 07/17/2009, -0/+2Would you kindly release this game sooner rather than later.
- TruEKuma, on 07/16/2009, -2/+3Well..........
***** - ranxerox76, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2that bites... the game selection this year has been kinda iffy and beside the new COD this november there isn't really anything I'm looking forward too
- TriNiiTy, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2Woah man far out.
- TriNiiTy, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2GROANNNNN
- azizrulez, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2the only good thing out of this is that all that extra development time will be put to really good use, everything is going to be way more polished and lets hope they can keep the PC system issues out this time that plagued the first game.
- dougieo, on 07/16/2009, -2/+3Don't be a slow poke, Take-Two, gamers don't wait for slowpokes
- unusualbob, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2I wouldn't be surprised if more games are doing this, as from the looks of the economy sales will be lower. They're just pushing back the release date and polishing the game while they're waiting.
- ohyana, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1:(
I can't wait any longer! - talkwithtim, on 07/18/2009, -0/+1I'm sure they have good reason to push it back. But it sure is disappointing.
- vanguardanon, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2This doesn't bother me at all. November is going to have L4D2 and MW2, I wasn't sure how I was going to squeeze in Bioshock anyway. I wish the blockbuster releases were spread out through the year instead of just before Christmas. Right now the gaming community seems to be bored with COD4 and not excited about anything else. If Bioshock were released now it would be huge. Game developers should keep that sort of thing in mind more than they do today.
- CaptainNoPants, on 07/20/2009, -0/+1It's HERBIE Hancock.
- Semicolonz, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1That's a huge excuse he used. He's scared of the impact on sales COD Modern Warfare 2 is going to have. I mean it's now a fact that MW2 is the most anticipated game of the year. No one really wants to go up against that with another FPS. Other games may have a chance but FPS's are pretty much *****.
- LibertyPrime, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1I'm willing to wait, more developers need to actually learn to push a game back more often rather than force it out onto the it's street date and then they unleash an onslaught of patches. I'm looking at you treyarch.
- nepidae, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1Yeah but L4D3 will be out early 2010 anyway.
- mt4055, on 07/17/2009, -0/+1Well said. I think.
- UltX, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2Mr. B... Big sister doesn't want you playyying with meeee....
- jordanmoore, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2As long as it's awesome I don't really care.
