^The opening cinematic is gorgeous - wesleyzero, on 06/03/2009, -3/+44The best part? The downloadable content will allow your friend's wife to play with you and abruptly delete your saved band data from your harddrive..
- krazyjoker, on 06/03/2009, -0/+23No, The Beatles.
- TheNik, on 06/03/2009, -1/+24I got the joke and lol'd but I can see how it will fly over some heads.
(Hint: It's a Yoko Ono joke.) - thefbimonkey, on 06/03/2009, -1/+18At least it will be introducing the music to kids of this generation. I would much rather have kids running around liking The Beatles rather than The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, or pretty much any of the popular music of today.
- dn11, on 06/03/2009, -1/+15best game trailer, ever. only regret that they're not making a whole beatles movie with that animation, and that the game itself doesn't have the same style
- merreborn, on 06/03/2009, -0/+12kkkiller toFUUUUUU
- Coercion, on 06/03/2009, -2/+14next up:
Wii Music: The Beets - stevieraveon, on 06/03/2009, -0/+9Yes, although that will produce the Red Ring of Death
- RatatRatR, on 06/03/2009, -0/+8How is this relevant?
- jonathanseely, on 06/03/2009, -6/+13Almost sufficient reason for me to get Rock Band.
- RatatRatR, on 06/03/2009, -0/+6I've heard a lot of drummers say that Ringo's drumming doesn't deserve its bad rap.
- timothiuz, on 06/03/2009, -3/+9AWESOME!!!!!
- damnshoes, on 06/03/2009, -3/+9Can i play as Yoko Ono?!
- SuperSnake2012, on 06/03/2009, -1/+7I'm really excited for this game... but even more than Beatles Rock Band, I'm more excited for the complete remastering of their catalog! Their stereo mixes that are on CD are atrocious... these remasters will be along the lines of Let It Be Naked and the Yellow Submarine soundtrack, which sound fantastic compared to these 1987 CD mixes. They're coming out the same day as the game - 9/9/09.
- MacVogt, on 06/03/2009, -1/+7Ringo and McCartney know nothing about the game other than the fact that they are in it.
- TheObviousChild, on 06/04/2009, -1/+6I miss George.
- dhVyse, on 06/03/2009, -0/+5That joke is going to fly over alot of peoples heads at about mach 5, but you get my thumbs up.
- stevieraveon, on 06/03/2009, -1/+6Can't wait to play The End on this. I call drums!!!!
- RandomEyes, on 06/03/2009, -0/+5I need mo' allowance. yodalayheehoo
- LookAnOwl2, on 06/03/2009, -1/+5Last I checked, that'd be a really good thing... sorry, but you don't get to keep all the good music to yourself.
- robotfriendly, on 06/03/2009, -1/+5Only if it came w/ fake blood to throw all over your living room while you played.
- MasterGrief, on 06/03/2009, -1/+4If the tracks were exportable, you could rent the game and rip them all to your hard drive. It's not going to happen.
- RatatRatR, on 06/03/2009, -0/+3Interesting. I enjoy Let It Be Naked, and I always hear that their mono mixes were better than stereo.
- 68024, on 06/04/2009, -0/+3And that they're going to make a heap of money from it! But I say let them, in my view they've earned it.
- nwscott7, on 06/03/2009, -0/+3homage to the cavern = brilliant.
- AntonMoss, on 06/03/2009, -2/+5Hey man, the way I see it, John sang "All you need is love".
He loved Yoko, so if you say ***** her, well you are in turn saying ***** John Lennon and his music. - dhVyse, on 06/03/2009, -1/+4My favorite part are the harmoized vocals. Hope you can equip multiple mics for backup vocals. In a few songs I saw a 3 voice harmony going on in the vocal track. Very cool.
- oMeSSiaHo, on 06/03/2009, -0/+3Seriously! I would buy a 360, all the instruments and the game if it looked like that.
- Oshi, on 06/04/2009, -0/+2wow, the art looks amazing. Usually guitar hero/rockband animation looks retarded.
- SuperSnake2012, on 06/03/2009, -0/+2They are... at the time of the recordings, stereo recording was still a novelty and a pretty new thing. So in some of their albums, the stereo recording is very harsh - drums may be panned 100% to the right, vocals panned 100% to the left, etc. Very strange mixes...
- uberchaoslord, on 06/03/2009, -1/+3It better have Revolution in it is all I can say. Although I'm guessing 50% will be weaker hits, so you can DLC some later. :(
- Koushiro, on 06/03/2009, -0/+2What's wrong with them?! It should have the piano thing from the end of Sgt. Pepper when the title pops up like that!! >.<
- Rethcir, on 06/03/2009, -0/+2The globe does this all the time.. send some photographer to take a bunch of nice pictures of some topic (restaurants, red sox players, subway trains, etc) and make a not-very-interesting but probably high-page-view-generating page.
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1As far as I know, eventually MORE than the full discography is going to be on it, as they are releasing full album DLC, and the base game is going to include unreleased songs.
- TsuruchiBrian, on 06/03/2009, -1/+2It would have been cool if they allowed exporting of songs (like with rb1 and rb2) so you don't have to keep switching between games.
I'm sure this decision had something to do with hoping to make more money, but I am not sure exactly how. - slysamba, on 06/03/2009, -4/+5***** Yoko Ono.
- merreborn, on 06/03/2009, -1/+2Looks like it supports multiple mics:

Interesting. - lennybird, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1Aw, I was expecting Eleanor Rigby to play.
Even though that wouldn't really fit as an intro song. - tidu, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1halfway through that it takes a turn for the.... AWESOME
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1I was thinking the same thing about Within you Without you.
Drums on that song would be insane. - TheObviousChild, on 06/04/2009, -0/+1Just the other day I was listening to Beatles on my headphones at work typing away when I began wondering why the lead guitar was missing completely. I quickly realized my right earbud was out as I had been talking with a co-worker.
- ViscidGobs, on 06/04/2009, -0/+1This is going to be as great as Beatlemania.
- TheObviousChild, on 06/04/2009, -0/+1Don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree. That isn't a knock against Ringo's skill, but rather a knock against the Beatles early song structure. Even George Martin said when he first began working with the Beatles, they were very simple. Very catchy, but simple. Also, in mainstream compilations like we may see in Rock Band, you often see 'Please Please Me" and "Love Me Do". Catchy pop songs, but simple. That is why I hope they dig into the later catalog as well.
I think Ringo is VERY underrated and, as it turns out, he's had the most successful post-Beatles career (although my fav is Harrison and Traveling Wilburys in particular). I remember watching a documentary on the making of Sgt. Pepper's and when they were talking about "A Day in the Life", Phil Collins, who is an awesome drummer, raved about how impressive the drum fills are that Ringo throws in there.
Sorry for the run on, but I absolutely did not want to show disrespect to what happens to be my favoite band of all time...along with Pearl Jam. - 68024, on 06/04/2009, -0/+1Not sure. I don't see a controller instrument for her...
- quitjoel, on 06/09/2009, -0/+1she's so heavy is heavier
- inactive, on 06/03/2009, -1/+2Shawno1, hating something because it's gained too much popularity to make you "cool" for liking is stupid. Enjoy being stupid.
- theuber1337, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1Well played, sir!
- USER1236, on 06/03/2009, -0/+1Its going to be a very expensive day for me....
